[Suggestion] LA7 Buzzard Buff

    If you want it to remain capable of firing like it does now, what's stopping you from asking that from the devs? Its not like the Buzzard is going to be OP any time soon with those options!

    Since the Starfall is far superior, why n9t?

    Nothing. I was just asking so that I could better understand your idea. I don't want to add or subtract from your original idea without it fitting in to what you imagined.

    So? Wrel, in his constant VS-***-kissing bias, already gave the VS the "unique" piercing mechanic from the Bishop and put it on the both versions of the Aphelion along with the anti-armor mode (which was the only perk) of our Auraxium LMG to a pistol that any VS can buy for cash and still have their easy-mode LMG or other weapon of choice.

    Maybe its about time the NC got something actually unique and effective that STAYED unique and effective instead of seeing it handed to the other factions in a better form without nearly the same work.

    Yep, we need this for the Buzzard. Also, buff the Railjack with a secondary fire mode, like every single other ESSR. We have nothing that good in NC, nothing that special. It feels like we constantly get overrun by TR and VS, with their special stuff, but we are basic.

    For those of you looking for a more artillery style vehicle I had an idea about something like a SAM that could also lock onto ground vehicles as well as artillery fire. Feel free to simply use this as a guideline for my idea with some flushed out specifics (not including damage).

    Basically, it functions like an automated mobile SAM with two seats that players can enter. Lock times are slightly shorter, but fires lots of medium damage high blast radius missiles (like flail size blast) that are also effective against armor (light AV damage type?), but possible to for smaller targets to dodge (less so than current tomcat's) a decent amount of damage. If the turret is unoccupied it becomes automated, but the lock times double if not deployed while the AI is active. Both the driver and gunner have access to a 600 meter map they can view (similar to what SPG's from World of Tanks get (it shows terrain and wrecks in detail from above, but not enemies unless spotted) that shows all enemy vehicles that have recently fired, recently spotted (a faded icon that stays for about half as long as a spot and refreshes if that target fires or is spotted), and maybe even targets that are smoking. The turret can lock on to a target by standard means as well as via this special map or just fire on their last know position by clicking on the icon (like you can currently do with friendlies to send them a message), as well as also change the angle at which the missiles are fired and will try to follow from several different options (ie 0, 25, 50, 75), be they from a direct visual (ie looking directly at the target) or from the special map which allow them to hit targets that retreat behind hills even after locking onto them.

    The turret can't look, lock, or fire straight ahead due to the driver's cabin, but is otherwise able to fully rotate and fire at very high angles and slightly lower than the horizon (ie -20 degrees), and change payload weight types (similar to the Swarm) by a button to engage lighter targets more effectively via more maneuverability and speed while sacrificing some and blast size. While deployed, the driver is able select targets for the turret to fire at via the vehicle's special map, and turret is able to fire at ground spots but only by the special map and if it is manned. Unique option for utility slot is a combined ground and air vehicle radar, but the effective detection distances are reduced by 25% vs ground vehicles, (ie 450 max, 150 against targets with max stealth in defense slot). Additionally it can also get ether a deployment shield or a lower altitude sky shield in the defense slot, both with slightly down scaled health. Vehicle would probably have a similar look, health and mobility stats to an ANT, just with the back chopped off for the missile turret (like the one that got cut from the game).
