    I've been advocating this since beta: the issue is bases come and go, while stats remain.

    And this has been causing deviating behaviours for years. Like people sniping from a spawn room instead to trying to resecure, or people blatanly ignoring capture points to focus on farming, or players crying when a Sundy explodes because the fight dies.

    Reality is ps2 is a team deathmatch in disguise. The big open world map makes people believe there is some kind of strategy or logic behind our battles because we are virtually free to fight wherever we want.

    And imo the awful implementation of Redeploy and spawn beacons makes this even worse.
