Headshot question

What would you think about a player with a total of 2,000 kills and all but 3 being headshots?

I would look at timing and weapons used. I once saw a guy with over 70KD, ehich he achieved legitimately by only only using that character in specific situations as a MAX for most of the time. If this is a guy who uses snipers and only waits for headshots as a self-created challenge for example...

Kinda suspicious given how just plain rare and unlikely it is.

With CoF and recoil mechanics it seems very very unlikely to have only gotten three non-headshot-kills.

You're neglecting some of the most vital of information in relaying this story. For starters, what kind of weapons populate those last 2,000 headshot kills?

With 2000 kills and only 3 body shot kills, it is monstrously unlikely that we are talking about legit gameplay. Check the overall accuracy on the weapon concerned, but going just on these numbers, I would absolutely withhold any benefit of doubt.

Maybe he just loves the Daimyo. I've got a pretty good head shot ratio with that one myself, and I'm a terrible sniper.

I've seen stats of people who have done it on say the carv for instance, I think they would have been very patient, taken only kills they were assured of getting the headshot and single tapping every gun. Because the players who do this still only achieve around ~3kda it's maybe not even that they are godly skillful just that they are being gimmicky though they must be well above average. Given that there is no bloom on your first shot and some guns have around 0.1 starting COF while crouching and stationary. So thats pretty well pinpoint accurate. Other things they probably did were to assure they were on flat maps and yeah didn't shoot people midair. I always go for body shots on targets midair because headshots are too damn hard to pull off most the time.

Like others have said - what weapon and look at the extended killboard to see the times between kills.

I was going to defend him because his overall accuracy on his most used weapons looks normal, then I saw the time stamps on his kill board. I agree, that guy fits the definition of suspicious.

I reported him but alas he's still playing - latest killboard he's got 3 headshots within 2 seconds. Not bad eh ? It just keeps on like that throughout.

Oh he's number one all-time HSR with the Tanto (like by nearly 10%). Yup - seems legit to me (spot the sarcasm).

Thing is - people think that Battleye has removed all the cheaters but it really hasn't. It's done a great job of removing the lazy sods who would pay to download a bulk hack but the hardcore cheats are still there. I'm not even going to mention Hydra...

Orion is great but not a headshot specialist.

I'd say - check out his headshot ratio on fisu. I'm always suspicious of low-average accuracy with high HSR - you would see this a lot when head hitbox manipulation was prevalent (which it might still be !)

I've just looked at the top HSR folks for the Orion - https://ps2.fisu.pw/leaderboard/player//?item=80#hsr - and most haven't played for ages (no doubt banned). However, number 5 in the list is still playing - and played last night - and is top or near the top of the HSR charts for every weapon he uses ! Whatever happened to the auto-ban ?

I have 73% HSR on the sabr-13 and close to 65+% HSR on all the weapons i'm using on a fresh TR alt, i'm not even trying to pull thoses headshots...
It's not that hard if you have a good rig , a good connection and a good knowledge of the game + if you tryhard thoses headshots you can be top HSR of the game
All you have to do is creat a fresh char, do enought kills to be on the top charts and bait ppl crying for cheats. Easy.

Don't get me wrong there are cheaters out there, but you instantly know when you face one of them because it's so obvious... not just " souspicious".

I 'll be glad to check that guy's stats with you but thoses stats are coming from OP's *** so... no link, no name, all you can do are assumptions and cry here.

99.85% headshots though?

I play sniper quite a lot - and my most accurate headshot percentage is around 77% with the Parallax (overall accuracy is 49%).

Even if you were very careful about selecting targets - the game mechanics and the random, unpredictable nature of player movements are such that you are bound to miss more than 3 headshots in 2000 kills.

Technically you could only take 99.9% safe shots - point blank at afk targets and achieve a ridiculous HSR.
Seems like the opposite of fun, but certainly doable.

Take in mind the terrible lag on the servers in the last month, that alone would make it near impossible, for me its more or less a no brainer is the stats are true.

Blatant cheater. His latest "fun" is roadkilling MBTs with a Flash.

Their are worse than him, which i have reported and nothing, i guess by the SPM, they are paying members.
