Am I the only one tired of instagibbing scat maxes

    Really? I'm interested in those statistics! Where did you find them? What were those stats exactly? Were they complete stats that included things like amount of uses etc? Show us, don't boast about it!

    And if only the NC is useful, should we also nerf that to make the class totally useless then? I don't believe that is a great solution.

    I'd love to hear it.

    if you mean sticking an NC Max into a Bio Lab doorframe, while TR & VS keep running into the doorframe without explosives for an hour, as no one bright logged on..
    I'll refer to how VS & TR do the same thing.

    If every exposed zone is 10 seconds, and no one fires..
    And you have never have to leave,
    I want this ******* teleporter.

    If you run around a corner, and the Max is there; Guess what, you ran blindly around a corner into a CQC Max.
    If you had a Buddy, or C-4, or Tank Mines, or just respawn, that thing is dead.
    Or you're a idiot, and you keep running into someone with the shortest range, and all of 12 shots.
    Run into a TR or VS AI Max: You don't have to run into their guns at 2 meters, you can just be in sight of one.

    If you run around a corner, into an NC max to have no options..
    That NC Max is literally camping a Corner, you for some reason went through, and no one has thrown an explosive, used a sensor, or guessed it was there nor died to it earlier.
    If your side is not using sensors, explosives, nor figuring each other has died, and so you are get mauled by a stationary Max unit that some how got there anyway... You sorta deserve the results of that.
    When NC finds a TR or VS Max, they can't exactly stare at it from range.. and it doesn't have to stay still so it can open fire Without wasting all their ammo for nothing...

    That's planetside 2. People run around corners ALL the time. I know that you are all strategical, have eyes at the back of your head and always c4 and a gun ready at the same time. But I don't...neither does anyone else(at least not if they a honest). Stop making up things to make scatmax worse...TR and VS know the reality...we have to deal with that crap every single day. Alone today I had at least 2 situations where a group of scatmaxes were camping down a small path to an elevation tube(whoever got down there was instant dead). Obviously a huge advantage if you can close entire paths to a point with just 2 Maxes and an engi...I'm sure they farmed several 100 kills.
    I remember very well all your NC tears when the ZOE Max could do that to you...

    And when they aren't camping a corner or door-frame, they're legit more useless than the TR & VS Maxes.
    And ZOE wasn't the only weapon option for AI, for VS... it was their ES Ability.
    If we buff TR & VS so they have the same capability up-close as NC, they have superior range, and equal effectiveness in the only Range NC can fire.
    If we nerf NC's shotguns, they become even more situational, even more clutch, and end up having to make them so impractical, that NC sacrificed every bit of range, reload, magazine, sustaining fire, to do less than VS & TR.
    Which is literally why I say Change the weapons from over-specialized shotguns on 1 side against Chainguns & Machine-guns..
    Why is only NC, stuck with the game's most situational-weapon type as their sole dedicated AI option?

    The Scatmax is either Godly, or utterally ****.
    That's from the nature of the specialized-to-hell CQC Shotgun weaponry.
    It either dominates, or is useless.
    Yet, a grand deal of suggestions is to improve the Universal weaponry to equal the Situational Weaponry in the only situation it shines...
    Or to reduce the Situational weaponry to be equal to the Universal Weaponry in the only it shines.
    Or to give options to the Universal Weaponry equipped sides, to have the only option available to NC as a optional choice..

    Where are the suggestions to equalize Maxes, with similar weapons, instead of hammering NC or Buffing VS & TR to rival NC in the single range NC Has?
    Where are the suggestions to replace NC shotguns with weapons of the same class of TR & VS?
    Why is it, arm VS & TR with NC's gear, and leave NC with even less comparable options?
    Why is it Balance NC's short-range Shotgun weapons, with VS\TR's Medium Range spray weapons?
    Why the hell is NC stuck with the situational weapons that must be identical in firepower in close-range, while VS & TR is expected to equal them in close-range while retaining their range, magazine, & reload advantages?

    How about we, put NC's shotgun fetish of situational use to bed, and have the Maxes each in the same ******* class of weapons.
    Rather than try the balancing dance of Universal use & Situational Use weapons being equal in 1 Situation..
    As that favors the Universal, to be equal to the Situational in the single place it sacrificed to achieve in, and gives the Universal the Edge in every situation, rather than all but 1.

    So how about it?
    If the Shotguns are so grand, why is the idea of not limiting NC to Shotgun weapons, but instead making NC's Maxes like TR & VS maxes are to each other, seemingly absent?
    TR & VS, much closer to each other: Same damn AI weapon classes; 'Medium'-range Spray-Weapons, for AI.
    NC? Shotguns, close-range specialist weaponry only for AI.
    It's akin to making an Assault Rifle & Shotgun, be equal in Close-quarters, while ignoring everything positive about the AR.
    Just make Maxes all use the same weapon type.... Then it magically isn't NC inferior or Superior in a situation..
    As Every damn Max then has the same Range specialty, not TR & VS Share one, and NC gets a close-range one..

    So how about it.

    The Gorgon is an AV weapon that is inferior to every side's AI weapons, outside of out-ranging, having more ammo, a shorter reload, than NC's own AI.
    To pick up a Gorgon is to experience inferior AI capability in every regard, to gain range.
    VS & TR can also pick up a Gorgon, to experience the same inferior AI firepower.
    As well, every AI but NC is essentially medium at best, but dear lord good joke.

    After all, Dedicated AI from VS & TR working better than the AV Gorgon, with a splash of AI, sounds actually proper:
    And is how it works.
    Which is why, anyone bright should realize the Gorgon doesn't mystically become better for NC.
    Pick up a Gorgon on NC, have inferior AI capability in every single range compared to VS & TR.
    Not really 'feeling' like VS or TR - you're wielding a light AV weapon against infantry, instead of an AI focused chaingun.
