[Suggestion] Move the ES Heavy weapons into the HA's Tool Slot.

    Seriously though, I can understand why you want it and it does make sense on paper, but wouldn't it be a lil ridiculous if I, for example, pick a TMG-50/Gauss SAW, run around pwning people at long range and then switch to a Chaingun/Jackhammer to own people at CQC and as such never experience weapon downsides because you have one great long-range gun and one amazing CQC option all in one package? It makes some sense and it's pretty cool, but needs a balance pass or two.

    Reducing movement speed would be one way to balance it, because carrying that many bullets is a little silly, like where would they fit them? In their pants? On the belt? On their back? (Now when I think about it, it would be cool to be able to see HAs carrying a bullet belt if they have 2 primaries equipped like that). Would fit it much more for suppression/fire support.


    Or maybe reducing magazine size and reserve ammo by half. A Jackhammer with 5/6 rounds only isn't that scary and requires more skill to pull off, and a chaingun with 50 rounds in mag doesn't last very long. The lasher... no downside for carrying it? I mean it's effectively pretty weak as-is, suppression in this game is practically worthless most of the time TBH and is rarely better than killing power.

    The HA would be trading the RL(AV) for Heavy Weapons(AI).

    It's just adding more depth to the class.

    Kinda on the fence. While it would be nifty if heavies had CQ options with the long for infantry, I don't feel like launchers are bad for AI. The splash if landed correctly will often net you 500-750 damage which is enough to kill a behind cover target.

    While we are at it how about HA gets to dual wield non lmg/battle rifle/heavy weapon/rocket launchers/shotguns with double recoil values and no zoom/sights.

    2x SMG/pistols.

    Why not just make it so both the weapon and tool slot are completely interchangeable. 2x decimator? Yes please. LMG and shotgun? Why not. 2x Chaingun,Lasher,Jackhammer so you don't have to reload just weapon swap? Ok.

    For balance HAs only move @ 80% speed and everything modifies off that.

    A shotgun with an underbarrel shotgun, plus a shotgun pistol and a burst/longer range shotgun.

    While being in a Aircraft with a shotgun, or a Tank or Buggy with a shotgun on top.

    Okay boys time to up the ante. Duel wield rockets on HA! Maybe unlimited ammo no reload? The catch is no medkits...

    You could have them "Specialize" by making them have to choose between a RL and Overshield and that wouldn't result in them dominating small fights.

    Small fights... large fights... they dominate all fights due to sheer numbers. But making it a choice between a rocket launcher or an overshield would be somewhat of a step in the right direction... the shield is still unbalanced in itself though.

    Ehh... I have to say no. I prefer the ability to use a Heavy Gun with a Rocket Launcher.

    This! In fact I'd have it so you can have the second RL in your primary weapon slot, and instead of the medkit there'd be a 'rocket auto loader' option that starts reloading rocket launcher 1 while you're firing rocket launcher 2, and vice versa. So if you're willing to sacrifice LMG and medkit you get a significantly more powerful rocket option. To prevent excessive noob tubing, only the non-OHK rockets (annihilator, swarm, and ESRLs) can go in slot 2.

    so what happens for those of us who want to use lasher/jackhammer/MCG as our primary and have a RL as our tool? :p
    are we dooned to switch our rocket launcher for another primary that we won't use? :eek:

    HA's are balanced. (hence they are the primary fighting force © devs)
