Please change the loading screen on the game to anything but NC. It's so frustrating being NC and you encourage new players to jump on the faction only to be wasted space in the new spawning system. Boosting Team Killing by new players and frustration to the existing. Make it a PS2 Logo. I mean if Everquest and Everquest 2 can change screens every expansion why in the world doesn't PS2? You changed the defense of base cap at 50% per faction. So if NC has an influx of new players constantly vs just mediocre attackers NC will get rolled and people will quit or 4th faction. No wonder existing players end up playing other factions while the new ones stay. It's easy to check the numbers and level ranges of players per month. NC has an overwhelming amount of low BR's and fresh accounts. So I plead with you, change the logo because some people aren't intelligent enough to make decisions for themselves and will perceive NC as the main faction or "Good guys" and play them exclusively.
There was supposed to be one for each faction. But as we all know they like to implement things in "phases" and never moving past the first one. So here we are once again with a half-finished idea that leaves people confused as to what their original plan was. Heard somewhere that this was supposed to be the one for TR:
actually we already had the TR one afew years ago, it was this and lucky them, they weren't running away like the NC are in the current one. i'd guess there will be a VS one next
How is this a TR one? If anything, this is the most balanced one so far. The current one shows a TR soldier getting stabbed and a VS infiltrator being shot - yes, both by NC. You can't really discriminate against new players. It's their choice which faction they want to play, and if they make the informed choice to stick with NC or play against them, we should welcome that as a community. This is a game about numbers, and if NC consistently have a new playerbase to replenish the depleting population, then all the more advantage for you.
In the PS2 anniversary video feed of they also featured an art contest. Its a shame they are not being used. How about simply having 1-2 loading screens per faction, and have the game alternate between those.
because they're in the middle, apparently the NC being in the middle makes the current one the NC one, and if thats the case it doesn't show NC in a very good light, retreating!
