[Suggestion] At last deeper gameplay?

    I don't really blame you for your cynicism, as I've left the game for over a year now until I got the PS4 beta invite.

    Was posting some bugs to help the game out on PS4 and looked around in the forums again and started seeing these small things and putting them together. Maybe because I've been at a distance for so long and I can see the small changes and shifts.

    Nice thorough post BTW :), you have lots of good ideas there.

    Honestly, I feel Conquest is the right direction for the series. it implements a lot of things the fan base has been asking Live to adopt. For example a Hybrid of Lattice and Influence hexes. The return of Logistics with the removal of Redeployside and Instant Action. I truly hope the BETA test is successful, and basically decide to overhaul the whole game into the new format. It actually gives me hope, despite the fact I should know better.

    This. This might be the beginning of a far more superior meta-game. I *WANT* logistics to be a thing, I want to have to have capable drivers and pilots to move people around. The idea that you can magically spawn in platoon-loads of players at a time is absurd - you can even get past the 50/50 percentage gap by simply moving over all the squad leaders first then letting the members deploy there - even if this was not the case they could put down beacons near or on the spawn room and platoons will be raining from the sky.

    Zerging has to be contained somehow, and this might help a lot. It might even make field battles a viable thing again, as opposed to some random things that just happen once in a while.

    Speaking of field battles - I hope one day we get the continents trimmed a little or new continents with far less bases per square meter, and more open fields or terrain, making for more travel and more chances for said open battles. Some bases are literally inside ear-shot of each other, and you can walk out of one and go in one direction on foot for less than a minute and you are in another base. That, is sad.

    Indeed, however they've apparently re-enabled redeployment in a "limited" capacity. I say limit it to Facilities, and only if they aren't being attacked. They said this was done due to feedback. So basically it seems the majority have no desire for actual logistics. Every time I play this game, I dream of that epic moment from the movies. Your outnumbered, overwhelmed, You're commanders call in the Reinforcements/Air Strike. ETA 3 minutes. You all grip your guns tight. "Gonna be a long 3 minutes". Then finally, from the horizon you see it. The Galaxies, with fighter escort. Fully loaded they drop down, blasting their horns. The men come raining down, Death From Above. Gah! Make it happen DB!

    Yeah but first iteration was not really a success.
    It has be tested and tweaked further before it becomes acceptable.
