Major flaw in base design

    i'd be happy if someone cut down the trees in front of the fixed turrets. facepalm !

    new base designs needs to prevent sunderers from overloading the base as well i might add. ive seen enemies drive sunderers all over the base and use them as fortification sunderers especially when the point is being capped by the enemy

    You do realize that the bases were designed like this from the start on purpose? The developers wanted a more "dynamic" play style a-la COD to appeal to the kiddies to maximize market appeal. They were worse, much worse before they kludged a band-aid fix and filled in some of the windows and doors. They actually wanted defenders to be at a disadvantage. They could have scattered control points around a featureless flat map, the bases were never meant to be nothing more than convenient places to meet to shoot people. The net result is that it crippled the strategic depth of the game.

    The idea that a base siege could take days , like Planetside 1, was completely thrown over to appeal to the ADD tweeners...Hell we don't even have advanced tech like doors and windows in the far future, let alone locks...
