Currently I play the game on a 23" monitor at 1920x1080. I am thinking about getting a 28" 4K monitor to play which should make the game extra crisp and maybe more detailed textures I am not sure. I wanted to get feedback if anyone else had a lower resolution and then purchased a 4K monitor. Was the resulting game play more stunning and real then playing at 1920x1080. Thanks in advance.
Well if you have the GPU power then get a 4k monitor anyway but i dont think at this point i would inverst just purely for this game alone. If you play other games regularly then why not. I would love a 4k monitor but would need some serious GPU upgrade, have you tried to run the DSR resolution at 4k to see how your GPU holds up now? Should give you an idea of how much GPU power you will need.
Certain 4K monitors are worth it for certain applications but theyre not worth it for games yet. Especially considering a decent cheap 4K monitor is thousands if you dont want a TN panel and a garbage WLED backlight. Youd be infinitely better off with a 1920x1080, 2560x1080 or 2560x1440 IPS with a good backlight.
