Humorous War Stories, Let's Hear Them

Back when I was still a newbie I was treking across some desert on Indar as a HA (because I was too dumb to redeploy) and got caught out in the open by a Scythe. He must have been a newbie too, because we traded rockets and and whatnot back and forth without either of us killing the other. I even emptied my LMG at him, but I was just hanging on by a sliver of health.

He must have knew it, too, because he comes down in a hover right in front of me as if teasing me with my impeding death. Out of frustration, I pulled my pistol with only one shot left and fired at him in defiance. Damned if he didn't explode.

I elated in my victory, imagining teh hate tell coming my way, when a piece of his wreakage hit me and killed me.
