Public Pickups !

PS2.Pickup will soon reach its 13th weekend of scrims on the PTS, having just recently broke our record with 71 attendees on Saturday 15/02/14!


We have been doing these public mix team matches every weekend for the last 12 weeks. We hope to keep on going, we will be doing more matches at different times in the future - and we already have many planned events coming your way. Especially towards the more casually competitive outfits.


Come along and see what its all about, feel free to check out the links below to see what Pickups are / what they are like. The last 4 weekends has seen us really test out the new amerish bases. We have had tons of fun, but we ain't done yet! Public Pickups are generally a place to go to play a more competitive feel, but without the win / rep loss to go with it!

Join in, in what is a bridge between live and competitive play - in a comfortable and fun atmosphere! Matches of varying sizes and lengths - all skills present. On public pickups you will be playing against people from all around the world, fighting against people from your own faction and outfit! - There is no faction / outfit loyalty in these scrims! - Try out other factions weapons, try out new loadouts with no repercussions - drown in the 100,000 certs per character!

I gotta say I had a great time doing pick ups I wish more people would do it.

Didn't you whine about this on reddit after someone from EXOC posted a similar idea and got their thread deleted?

Participation is growing week by week and I have to say I am really impressed by the drive Dotzor is bringing to making this happen as a regular thing so come along and join the fun. Awsome group of people to play the game with and if you are like me and never played any other faction besides my main one since launch also a good chance to try out the other factions and see what their strengths and weaknesses are without having to take a bath afterwards for abandoning your faction on the live server!

OP Server Jerk this weekend is going to be epic! Miller > Connery. I am a US based player and have my main char on Miller. I have an alt on Connery and play with X on that server. IMO, Miller game play is superior due to tactics, cohesiveness and speed of play. We will see what happens this Saturday. Keep up the great work Dotz!!!

The pickups are an awesome way to spend an evening, Dotz and alleluja put in metric tonnes of work to make it fun for all involved.

As OP states.

Still looking for reps to help us muster woodman, waterson, mattherson for potential server teams and general outfit vs outfit matches.

It doesn't state (at least anywhere I saw) where these fights are going down. Are they on Hossin? Because the new bases on Amerish look pretty ****.

Can't wait for the Miller vs Connery match. Will it also be streamed for others to watch? If the fight ends up like the normal ps2pickup scrims, it really is worth your time watching it.

Will be streamed, link etc to follow once it has been decided.

Create a Steam group and push out notifications to it and it might catch my eye often enough to join in on some PTS matches.
