I'm a relatively new player, and I just hit 1000 certs for the first time. What would be the best thing to get first for my character?
  2. Alarox

What classes do you play/vehicles do you use?
  3. Flapatax

If you're low there aren't many 1000-tier unlocks I'd recommend over multiple smaller ones.
  4. ww2legomaster2

I like to play Infiltrator and Heavy Assualt. I dont fly, but I use the main battle tank and the Lighting
  5. ww2legomaster2

What smaller ones would I get?

AP or HEAT cannon for the lightning is a good investment, as is racer/rival chassis. If you haven't certed up your Heavy shield do that, AP cannon on the Vannie is practically required, as is the shield, besides that there's suit slots, weapon attachments, etc.

    HA?

Nano Weave, upgrade your shield levels. Put optics and gizmos on your machineguns. Perhaps buy another LMG if your not happy with the NC6 Gauss SAW.

There is a ton of stuff to upgrade wiht 1000 certs.

Maybe get Ammo Bandolier if you feel you want to carry more ammo...i find this one pointless cuz of all the ammo terminals and stuff.

On an Infil, upgrade your cloak, upgrade your radar dart gun, get a better scope on ur Sniper if you want one.

On a Vanguard get the shield, its pricy but kinda worth it at times. Put zoom, ammo upgrades and stuff like that on your Tank guns.

Lightning, idk, I run with a HEAT gun, though I wish Ihad the AP gun on it like I do on my TR. AP gun on the Lightning, its very nice.

Don't cert a vehicle until way later. 1000 certs should go into your primary infantry class, usually people cert an engineer or medic first because you can get the most xp from things other than getting kills, while getting kills at the same time. If you don't mind earning certs at a slower rate or are already getting a lot of kills you could invest in your Heavy.

Gauss saw is a good gun, so don't go buying a 1000 cert gun.

Do you want some advice for the Vanguard certs? I've got somewhere around 50k certs into it with almost everything important maxed.
  11. ww2legomaster2

No thanks, although i play tanks i am more an infantry player
  12. ww2legomaster2

Interesting. Might choose one of these. Thanks
  13. icegnome

Cert up your suit slots and vehicle upgrades before you get new weapons. The default weapons for all the empires are perfectly capable.
  14. icegnome

In fact, cert into the default weapons and get the 200 cert Auraxium Medal reward for each, helps a lot.
  15. ww2legomaster2

Ok, will definetely be going for the 200 cert medal
  16. RogueVindicare

Keep in mind that requires 1160 kills with said weapon.
  17. ww2legomaster2

Oh. Thats going to take awhile
  18. Epic High Five

With the excellent NC defaults, this goes by in a flash

I'd recommend either a GD-22S w/ laser or slapping and adv grip/comp on the SAW. Both are incredible guns.

Then, max out Advanced Shield Capacitor and put some points into resist shield. This will give you crazy up time. Next step is get at least one rank of medkits so you can keep chuggin along.

    So uh

    ASC - 341 certs
    SAW kit - 300 certs
    OR
    GD-22S w/ laser - 200 certs
    Rank 1 medkit - 50 certs
    Rank 2 resist shield -150

941-1041 certs. Last rank of ASV is optional if you want some wiggle room or some left over.

Infiltrator I don't know and I don't consider it a good class to be new as.
  19. ajma

Unless you spawn a vehicle at every given opportunity, forget about certing vehicles for now. Identify the class you use the most, identify how you play and then start considering the things that will improve your performance. Once you´ve done all that, max it out and start focusing on something else.

Edit: Things you should keep in mind:
    • Do you always ADS before shooting or do you like firing from the hip?
    • Do you have medic support or tend to fight solo?
    • Are your encounters mostly intentional or accidental?
    • Do you prefer short, medium or long range encounters?
    • How good are you at managing recoil?
Things like these help you determine what you should cert, but also what you should change in your playstyle to do better in this game.
  20. asdfPanda

Going off of the basis of Heavy and Infitrator, there's much to get.
    Infiltrator:
    Hunter Cloak
    Couple Levels of Recon Dart
Nano Armor Cloak(Combos really well with Nanoweave Armor)
Advanced Shield Capacitor for both classes

    Heavy:
    Resist Shield
    Medkits
Sight + ADV grip + Compensator for Gauss SAW

You could get an SMG (Blitz or Cyclone) if you're into that kind of thing.
