Try joining an outfit with a dedicated air-wing or even a dedicated air outfit and you'll find your never short of a good wingman.

Easier said than done. There doesn't seem to be one on Woodman VS. I asked a lot of people who play there since launch, none had one in mind...my last desperate attempt was https://forums.station.sony.com/ps2...ot-looking-for-air-specialized-outfit.138170/ .

I do have a wing I know from Miller, but that just happened to be fortunate coincidence. If I saw a very skilled Scythe pilot nearby I would whisper him...but no.

Try and get in touch with other pilots on your server, form up together and get together on VOIP. This is basically how QRY formed in the first place.

How do you suggest to do it? I keep an eye open at all times looking for well piloted Scythes, but only found one in all my time on Woodman. I won't just whisper any random nab; on Woodman the best most ESF can do is ram into friendlies -- or unload a volley of rockets into them and then crashing.

I generally fly solo, but I've always liked your videos. Must remember to watch when I get home!

Step one, find a wing man.

I do still fly solo some of the time, simply because you can't practically always have a wingman/outfit-mates online. I do have a lot more fun when hunting enemy ESF in a wolf pack though!

I dunno, somehow it seems like I'm the only one in the platoon who's in a mossie. Or close to.

That being said, some of the most fun I've had in the air has been playing escort for a squad mate's Liberator.

It sounds like your suffering from a shortage of good pilots on your server. Why not get in touch with some guys interested in flying on the server and form your own air squad/outfit, and help those not as good as you get better.

Thank you I thought about that. I might as well form an outfit then and train the new pilots to get to my level quickly. But I don't have the time for that; however yeah I will take what you suggested to heart

Or you could just do the easy way and reroll a character on mattherson and enjoy the most competitive A2A action in the game. Double xp this weekend could help with that.
