Uhhh, what? You mean you bail out when you're not a light assault? I only ever fly as a light assault and bail out so I can survive. Why shouldn't I be allowed to?
I fly as engie because I don't run nanite repair on any of my vehicles. Most people that bail out of their esf are not light assaults nor have they certed ejection seats. But to backtrack a little... I DO think you should be able to bail mid flight. However, if you suicide I think the last person that did damage(the esf that forced you out of the air) should get full XP on your death. Just to quote what I said earlier...
or.. you know.. finish the kill... if im shooting an infantryman and knowing he will die he jumps off and suicides, will they ever implement a system where i get a full kill? probably not. so they wont do it with esfs
Some of you might not have noticed, but you get a 100 Exp superiority bonus for killing an aircraft with an aircraft. Seems to me like you're getting the points whether they bail or not.
Why the hell would I not bail? There's a chance I'll survive the fall. There's always a chance so ofc I'm taking it.
I use my LA when I fly..... I'm not going down with the ship, in fact I'm gonna land right next to that tank and blow it up and watch them come to the forum and rage about C4. You can bail out of EVERY vehicle in this game, what makes aircraft so special that they should not be allowed to bail?
Yep more simple to say than implement properly whiout causing undesirable side effect , one solutions could be that if you damage and destroy the vehicules then even if the guy fall on the ground you get the kills instead of the target get a (( suicide )) and truely antibail required a kinda lock in mechanics that could be glitchy and tricky to implement in many area , terrain not reconise as terrain etc..
Maybe they should add 50% chance of an ejection seat failure in case the Vehicle is below 15%/10% total health.
I do not fly very well. Most of the time I use my aircraft as a means to get to a location quickly, bail out using my LA and glide down. Your suggestion would kill this method of transport for many people. Or with my infiltrator I will fly above a ridge and bail out while my vehicle is on it's side. That way the ESF will flip over and either blow up or fall off the cliff so my infiltrator isn't exposed (easy to tell an infiltrator is on a cliff if an enemy ESF is just parked there).
Disagree, I often run LA so I can bail safely it's a perk of the class. Being able to bail as a LA should also count as a possibility if any anti bail measure were put in place Much better than ejector seat anyway
Because the bailing pilots are more than likely dead anyway from the fall (unless your a LA). It's nothing more than suicide over giving the guy killing you their just reward, it's petty really. At least ground vehicle drivers/turret operators have a chance at surviving. They added an ejection seat for a reason yet most people would rather die and deny the XP than use it and live...
Why on earth do you care that they jumped out of their vehicle? you got rid of a threat in the air, screw the points!
No problem with bails, just give kill and point to me if he dies touching the ground, that's all. Solved
