[BUG] Exploiting a broken weapon to make it viable (MCG)

    There you have it. You can actually make the MCG a viable CQC weapon if you merely do as the guy did in the video (intentionally not saying.. just in case an SOE mod gets ban happy).

    It is still worthless at any range where you have to burst fire, so even with the bypassed spin, it barely has a niche it can fill.

    So what's going to happen with this weapon? Is it going to be left with this unintended mechanic, or will the glitch be inevitably fixed?

    Once you get to know how to use the trick, the MCG kind of grows on you....

    They could remove spin-up altogether, shotguns are still better at close range, and LMGs are better all-round.

    Not to mention that the cone of fire is actually equal to that of quite a few LMG's.... only it doesn't have an advanced laser sight.

    It's actually less accurate than an MSW-R, since it doesn't have an advanced laser sight and it has a large ADS CoF as well.

    It doesn't need another drawback.

    yea , i have known about this bug for quite sometime and it still dosnt make the mcg viable lol.im sure the devs know about it and it will be addressed.

    Pie hit the hail on the head,,,, why bother, msw has a better cone do to the ALS and a faster ttk.
