if the phoenix doesnt direct hit kill infantry, why should any other launcher?

    It's a comic relief. Nothing is more fun than the rare occasions of seeing a droppod falling from the sky like a meteor and destroy an enemy vehicle. It's even better than seeing a galaxy using it's massive amount of hip points to ram and destroy a liberator. Or when 2 enemy ESF crash into each other during a fight. :D This game has some funny moments.

    Spam it? 1 missile every 5.2 seconds + flight time? Oh boo hoo.

    I think we can safely say that it was spammed when you get people who have the auraxium medal with the phoenix in a week after it was introduced.

    I actually liked the idea of missiles not blowing up on soft targets like people but punching through, dealing significant but not lethal damage. That would make the in-game treatment of projectiles consistent across the board without OHK or need to justify strange things like infantry eating missiles like they're nothing.
