Maybe I missed the Memo, but what happened to the squad boosts? went into to purchase some, but can only see personal boosts.
  2. Dracborne

Where they completely removed from the game?
  3. Codeak

I hope so, no one in their right mind would give others money for nothing but being in their squad..

In mmo games you form a team of players with a challenge to overcome and every bit extra helps .
This game has no such goals that I'am aware of .

Currently this is a free to play zerg farmfest with players focused on personal character building ,were a small teams have no goals to achieve apart from owning land and resources with no real sense of satisfaction .
At least in the real world soldiers die so the rest can have control of land ,oil and precious resources to help people live better lifestyles.

Even if you got 10 certs for a first base takeover, 20 certs to control 2 and 30 to take another while a still holding the first 2, scaling up till you own all major bases it would feel like you are progressively accomplishing a goal.

Ultimately controlling all bases would result in a continent lock for 24 hours were you receive 10 certs per base earned plus bonus certs per base for the continent lock ,During the continent lock all your empire receive the resource and xp bonuses with increased passive cert gain during continent lock.

This at least would reward defending since soldiers defending the first base would be rewarded when the next base get taken control of ,you would need to allocate forces to defending and attacking to get the bigger cert bonuses.

Currently teamwork as in defending ,repairing is punished since if you are not in the vicinity of the zerg capturing bases you get nothing .
Currently we do not have an ultimate highly rewarding goal to achieve thus making group boosts ineffective.

In this game the players are only concerned with getting as many kills for certs as they can since it takes so many to upgrade anything .

Can I ask why were you going to buy squad boosts?
What were your goals in providing free xp and resource gain to your squad ?
What goal is there in the game for any strategic team work ?

Currently the only way to take a continent is to have more players present on the continent, look on the map in game high population = high continent control, not challenging not strategic just sheer numbers.
Even if your goal was to overtake a continent how would xp or resources help the random zerg ?
Would 12 players getting boosted xp or resourced make a signficant influence on anything in the game ?
Currently owning all territory means ?
Currently defending a base means ?

So with no rewarding team goals in the game to date the only reason to boost is for personal abilty improvement .Players know there is no need to boost teamwork ,they do not buy team boosts so like any shop if the sales are non existent the product gets removed .

I wish the devs would implement a highly sought after team goal and the need for a team boost became highly effective .

Even a boost that changed the area resource to say aerospace resource so you could practice flying more rather than having to fight on specific continents to boost your specific area resource .
I would buy that for a dollar :)
I would buy a team boost if it rewarded me with my teams xp and resource gain since i actually am the one supporting the game developement .

    Personal boost = 50%
squad boost = 50% +% per squad member (Encourage squad formation )
Resource changer = resource gains will be changed to aerospace ,( small teams take small bases and get extra xp and aerospace resources instead of the actual area resource )
Territory flag = The abilty to plant a empire flag giving a small squad the ability to take small outposts even if they do not have adjacency.

Split certification :- Infantry certification, mechanical, aerospace .

Cert boosts = instead of a general cert gain were 250 xp = 1 cert .
    infantry boost = 250 xp = 3 infantry certs .
    mechanical boost = 250 xp = 3 mech certs
    aero boost = 250 xp = 3 aero certs

For players that love to say fly they could focus on getting 3 times specific aero certs as opposed to the normal multi cert for general spending on any of the 3 classes.,
Helps players specialise and provides a source of income to develope the game .

No answer yet? Will the squad xp boosts be coming back to the martkets Devs?

The reasons why they're so pitiful have been elucidated nicely, and it's likely that they saw that personal boosts vastly out-sell squad boosts. What do you do with a product that doesn't sell? Bin it. Given how easy it is to sell virtual items...their numbers must've been really, horrendeously bad if this was the case.

    nope, no answer yet.
