Why are nc considered the weakest?

    i went nc for a challenge in shooting not a challenge for certs devs decrease the prices plz.

    I have to say I don't see any imbalance issues between TR and NC. I think the balance there is pretty good. I kill and die to TR about the same.

    It's VS that seems to have some odd advantage that bothers me. Their weapons are not supposed to do as much damage as TR or NC, but I kill so much more efficiently as a VS LA than I do as an NC LA. This is likely due to the screenshake combined with the recoil while moving and jumpjetting. This is with higher tiered weapons not the starter weapons. The stock VS solstice is low on damage, but when you move up to a better weapon, they do just as much if not more damage than an NC weapon of the same level.

    Yeah, Ive also noticed that their carbines can hit across the map, and not to mention the Magrider...

    The NC already have highest average high-damaging weapons of the three factions. In fact, you have or tie the highest damaging weapon in almost all weapons categories.

    Essentially, the NC should theoretically excel at CQC, especially defensive CQC. Their recoil should make longer distances difficult for most people without scout or sniper rifles, even with compensating gun attachments; but, not always having high rate of fire means they should have as much difficulty as they do success at standing in place and spraying when close to the target, even if ADSing.

    im saying like little bit more i shoot vs sometimes and they kill me with one bar of health.

    Nothing needs to be buffed on NC. Your quite powerful enough and my deaths show that.

    NC need to twich on hit less...it makes even 1vs1 fights unfair, low RoF and extremely rising CoF with every hit lead NC troops to die when most dont even know why...thats why.
    NC is strong when they can shoot in the back...like every other faction, but face to face they are a joke.

    That happens to me all the time too (against both VS and NC) so it's not just you. I imagine that's how a lot of direct confrontations between two players whose combat skills average out end - a survivor with one or two bullet's worth of health left.

    I do not believe this stat sheet is accurate. The AF-11 Mercenary is nowhere near as good as this sheet claims.

    I use the Razor GD-23 on my NC LA and the Pulsar-C on my VS LA, and the stats on this sheet do not show anything that would clearly explain why the Pulsar outperforms the Razor like it does. This sheet says the Pulsar has worse recoil than the Razor and I know for a fact that that is not true.

    Unless it has something to do with the screenshake when an NC player gets hit, while it does not seem nearly as bad on the VS.

    Whilst that makes sense, it is also the polar opposite of correct.

    At long range accuracy is king. The NC weapons in burst mode can be unbelievably accurate. You can 'counter-snipe' with the SAW variants. (any NC complaining about ranged combat with an NC LMG needs to learn to aim)

    But at close/medium range, headshots and flinch are king. You want to put a lot of lead in the air, aimed at the head. This is where things tend to go off the rails for the NC - although using the 'somewhat questionable' IRNV scope helps to narrow the gap.

    I guess it's arguable that the jackhammer (being a specialist close range weapon) was supposed to make up for it, but the whole empire-specific-HA-weapon thing hasn't worked, with the jackhammer being possibly the least popular weapon in the game.

    Here is the honest take on NC, they are not the weakest, no faction is the "Weakest".

    NC strengths
    -Higher damage per shot weapons
    -Tougher vehicles (increased armor on the faction specific vehicles.)

    Cons of the NC
    -Higher than average kick
    -lower rate of fire.

    TR have a faster vehicles, and larger magazine capacity, but suffer from less damage per shot, and lack of speciality in vehicles.

    VS have more agile vehicles and little or no round drop, but suffer from lower magazine capacity, and faster damage drop off over distance.

    Every faction counters each other. If people would learn to play their faction or play the faction that better suits their play style they wouldnt complain about NC are underpowered or TR being underpowered or Vanu being underpowered. They would find out they just suck with that factions stuff.
