[Suggestion] VR Training targets.

If we are on VS, we shouldn't have Any VS targets in VR Training only enemies or dummy targets that move. It would be cool to have a target practice area in VR Training for both snipers and close range (shotgun gauntlet) as well as a grenade area to tell distance and elevated window/door placement/sticky grenade tracking. When is it we would practice against our faction be a good idea, for team killing? Have Only Enemy targets or square/circle/dummy targets of something else.

Why is this a problem? You don't get grief points for "teamkilling" in the VR and this allows it so there is just one version of the map that is handed to each faction. Removing the own one is a pointless endeavour.

do you have any idea how much work it would take to exclude friendlies from spawning in VR?
there's reasons why they put friendly targets on the range. too many times I've had to avoid hitting an ISV person inorder to kill an enemy. focus on fixing your corner before trying to change the whole community.

That's a pretty big non-issue. Having friendlies in VR will teach you to avoid friendly fire.

That's not a good way to train.

Unfortunately, you are narrow-minded. To stay on topic, just remove All friendly targets from the training area and only enemies should appear. Have a Max lane, Heavy lane, and Light Lane so people can actually practice. It would be even better if the targets actually move both for vehicles and infantry. Air targets would be cool too. With all this VR tech we can't even have models appear and disappear?

Agree with the moving targets. Even if they're just airplanes going in a straight line, from edge to edge of the map.

They could be a Galaxy at 50 km/h, a Valkyrie at 75, a Lib at 100 and a fighter at 125. Then they should also spawn at different altitudes, and our AA players and pilots could actually get a good way of target practice.

Tank targets should also show up in increments of 100 meters, up to say 500 m, on their own flat shooting grounds to practice ranging.

Of course, they could be scripted to have a random flight path too to practice various weapons but at least have a terminal near the location for quicker and efficient training.

Sure it is. You won't get weapon locked but you will get friendly-fire warnings when you shoot allied bots in VR. It's not exactly like real conditions but it's a start if you want to learn who you should shoot and who you shouldn't.
