What are the newest development road maps?

    Are we getting to be able to carry two primary weapons. Anyone have any news on what will be released for us?

    In the immediate roadmap is conquest system revamp - new victory conditions for alerts and different continental / facitilies bonuses. Around the same time or a bit later they're likely to launch ANTs, minable resources and player constructable buildings. At first it's just gonna be towers with automated turrets, which has potential to later grow into whole constructible bases.

    They also said they don't plan to make any changes current classes and weapons. Although, they recently moved LMG changes again on the PTS, so kinda mixed signals here.

    So no, we're not getting two primaries soon, and hopefully, never.

    Because it's a terrible, pointless and unoriginal idea, that doesn't have any bearing with real world, PS2 or Light Assault, and doesn't even give anything to LA.

    We have a pocket sniper rifle in form of black hand, and all our primaries are CQC. Carry a blackhand and you'll get the same thing as two primaries, without making it look like LA finally got some attention from devs.

    It would make the class a lot less interesting to play, since basically everyone would just carry a shotgun and a long-range carbine, and never have to face the drawbacks of either. Everyone else would get frustrated by the "shotgun spam" that would result from this, and that might lead to unwanted nerfs down the road. Thematically it doesn't really work, since there's nothing "light" about carrying around two primaries. I'm in favor of some kind of LA buff, but I don't think this is the one.

    LA's dont need more ways to kill, we are good enough at it with practice, we need utility for squad play to make us a viable choice and something to be useful solo at same time.
