Yep, sad but true. Hotfix did not change anything it seems..I really hope you get this fixed BEFORE the double xp weekend, don't even wanna think about how awfull it will be then.
before GU 4 i had at least 30 fps for a kind of playable game now after GU 4 i have 15-20 fps and it's UNFREAKINGPLAYABLE!!! Core i5 2320 Quadcore 3.0/3.30 W/Turbo 8GB DDR3 1066 Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce 500GB WD Blue Caviar
I saw a marginal increase until I went into a large fight then it went down to 9-19 fps which is unplayable. I suppose I will check back tomorrow to see if anything has been done to resolve this one Phenom II 1100T XFX 6870 8 Gig DDR3
Patch did nothing for me. I used to get 60 FPS at the always crowded Indar warpgate. Now I am getting around 40-45. I used to get 40-45 FPS at large fights at tech plants. Now I get 20-25 FPS. i7-3770k @ 3.5 GHz (3.9 GHz turbo boost) 16 GB DDR3 @ 1333MHz nVidia 660 GTX 2GB Please SOE, you're my only hope!
Its slightly better, but its still not fixed. FPS is way down still and I am one very unhappy customer. I am not renewing my subscription nor paying for anything until performance issues are resolved.
I have recieved a 5fps boost from GU4 and the hotfix from what I had before, so I guess I am lucky. Just wanted to let you know that what you are doing is helping a FEW systems, though it seems not all. Hope you guys find the solution. Kudos to a great game.
2500k @ 4.5 560ti 8GB ram Windows 7 Pro 60-110 fps pre GU4 45-80 fps post GU4 30-45 fps after lastest hotfix edit: changed some settings.... seems better.... testing further
CPU : Intel i5-3570K @ 4.4GHz MB : ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77 Mem : Corsair 16GB KIT DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Dominator Platinum GPU : 2x EVGA GeForce GTX670 FTW it's better, but not enough to play on ultra
Another problem: I set "Render distance=200" in UserOptions.ini but ingame distance is 1000. Before GU4 that ini file change worked good and saved me + 20-30 fps.
Just testing something.... in warpgate with "centralized hud mode off" 80+ FPS GPU With "centralized hud mode on" 65-70 fps CPU bound in warpgate.
Hotfix barely fixed anything for me. Sure, it made it so I didn't get 5 FPS in a biolab, but it was NOTHING compared to before GU4. I think I'm beginning to see the pattern for this now. Game Release - 60+ FPS GU2 - 40 FPS GU4 - 20 FPS I'm going to predict the future now: GU5 - 15 FPS GU6 - 5 FPS GU7 - Unplayable. Sony needs to stop killing their game. They need to do an optimization update some time soon. They need to realize their game is incredibly hardware intensive and that not everyone has $5000 computers. Plus, even the guys with really high end hardware are getting **** framerates. In my opinion, I don't care if the guys shut the game down for 6 months and re-released it in a better polished form. They need to fix it.
