Let me be blunt: If I saw a vehicle with that camo, I'd make a screenshot and post it on the "Technical Support" Forum titled "weird texture bug". I understanthe idea behind it, but if something gives the player the impression something might be wrong with the game, I'd rather not see it put in.
Meh. No offense, but I think this point is moot given the fact that you're looking at these examples with no light/shadow/occlusion/specular. In the game engine, it will be obvious that you're looking at a vehicle texture. This camo does what it's supposed to do, which is disrupt the vehicle silhouette; I've seen plenty of "busier" camos in-game. As long as it tiles correctly, it looks like a good offering to me.
There's no lighting or any sort of graphical rendering being applied in that preview. That's why it looks like that. All camos shown that way look like that, dig through the forums.
