The Racer is the new lag car for sure. Get two or more of those in one area and there is a chance you will only be able to actually hear one of them. I drive them too and I will be boosting the whole way and then the engine sound is gone. Turbo stream coming out of my exhaust like crazy but no sound. Is there no tire roll noise for those cars like the ATV and almost every other vehicle in the game? With the racer, when someone cuts the engine you don't hear anything coming your way. At least I hear people rolling up on me with other cars but not the racer. I see a lot of people using it just for the stealth of it more then the speed because any regular player has noticed that it has no tire roll noise. If there is tire roll noise, then it is so quiet that I need super hearing or something. The Racer is a broken excuse of a super car.
