I would suggest perhaps asking the Quest Giver for the Quest if you do not receive it up front. Badur - you seem to be saying two things that I hadn't realized. One - Guides often (or always) have the capacity to give many or even all Guide quests if they decide to do so. Two - Guides are allowed to give unadvertised quests if requested to do so and if they (in their sole discretion) choose to comply. Presumably most likely on a less crowded server or for a less popular event when they have nothing else to do for the half hour or hour they booked out. Thanks for this information - I may try to wheedle a Guide into giving one or more of the high status or large bag quests now. I hadn't realized that this was even an option if the Guide wasn't at the usual stating location for the Guide's Guide to quest in question.
Dorotea, Thank you for your Feedback and allowing me to Clarify. The Catalogue Quest in Reference is a Night of the Dead special. Around this time of year, I will clarify that That, and Only That, may be in possession of a Guide if they are able to. It is in no way saying that a Guide will have multiple Quest on them at once, and I apologize for this misunderstanding. I am also saying, Because of this, a Guide may forget they have it on them because it is a rare occasion this occurs. I hope this clarifies and again, I apologize for any misunderstandings.
