The bitter winds blew off the ice-capped Frostfang Sea, causing Hirzla to pull her cloak tight A quick stop at the bar in Raven's Roost would be welcome, but there would be time enough for that after her research was finished. A few hours later, as the daylight faded, a dejected Hirzla trudged back to New Halas, trap empty, research incomplete. She had spent the day trying to capture the fungoid creatures, but they skittered away from her - at least this proved to her that they weren't 'dumb plants'. Taking a sip from her mug, she grumbled to herself "There's got to be some way of capturing them. I'm just not quick enough..." "What's got you down, Hirzla?" the bartender asked, putting away several recently washed mugs and tidying up. "Research not going well?" "It's just been a bad day. I've done as much as I can with books, i need to get out there and get some actual experience with these creatures. I spent the entire day trying to capture one, but they kept avoiding the traps, skirting away from me. I'm just not fast enough or experienced enough to catch them on my own." She gruffly replied. "Oh, is that all? Easy enough! Just ask for help. The adventurers out there are plenty experienced with elusive prey, and the craftsmen know all too well about harvesting/trapping. They'll help you get your research subjects." Hirzla felt a surge of hope. Of course! And it wasn't like she didn't have something to offer in return. She made a mental note to pack her bags with extra traps as well as rewards for those who came to her assistance. She headed home, a sense of triumph already brewing.
