I want to apologize for the inconvenience today. Sadly due to rough weather on the open seas.. tornadoes, waterspouts, waves of ginormous size... I was not able to stay around. I did get back for short bits of time and some of you were able to complete the task. So thanks for your patience. I am going to reschedule my visit, as this weather was not expected and literally happened right as I started to chat with you all. So, come by Mara tomorrow, Monday 5/6/19 around 2pm PT and hopefully the sailing weather will be much calmer!
Hi there, we were curious as to if they might be adding a new bag guide quest that provides status akin to the Newsies? We find it rather inconvenient to only be able to do the quest once, since so many do not play alts. I mean limiting the quest to once a year would be at least something.
I have to agree with this in part, maybe not a bag reward but definitely we need another quest or two that reward status similar to the Celestial Guide to Thalumbra but updated. With such large amounts of status required in this current expansion, there really should be more ways to acquire said status. I'm not even going to get into the insane platinum numbers on broker other than to point out that there is not one whole quest chain in the whole game that awards 1000 plat. There is not even a whole expansion timeline that awards 1000 plat. Please, by all means, prove me wrong as I would love to know where I should be spending my time. With regard to status, when we have items requiring twenty million and more to purchase items from the vendors....personally, I look at that as a major balance issue. About the Guides themselves, thank you for all you folks do. You, the volunteers who give of your time and make an effort to create within the game a little more enjoyment for your fellow players, you all are heroes.
Thank you for your post Vlkodlak! We are players just like you and find out about new Quest offerings when you do. And,while it may seem inconvenient, many quests in game are not repeatable, for reasons DGC has decided upon. One thing I do suggest, is using the /feedback option in game to get your thoughts and concerns to the right individuals. You can also always check here where we may post up events that possibly you have not had a chance to experience yet. I do know there have been several visits from our friends in other realms you may be interested in and may fit what you looking for.
