I learned how to make a "read More" for the stories! I put the stories up for people to read and make use of however they like. Just give credit to the people who were listed, please.
Hello Lladeehawke, I have added your name to the list of people that I have written on my parchment. So far, I have Shadowraven, Samany, Lanylle, Lenah, Clairessa, and Lladeehawke for homes on the 12th. That will be all that I can see on the 12th.
Um. But. If I don't sell the stories, how do I repay the sages who make the books? I'm confused. I'm quite happy to help explain to folks how to make copies of books... (see my 'musing on scribblings' book) but only the author of a book can make copies of a book. The Makers don't make it easy for us, don't'cha know!
The whispers on the wind speak of a soul in need of assistance this very evening, 12/07/2015, around 7 pm PST. As I understand it, this spirit is a new arrival to the Ethernere, so please do give her a bit of patience while she adjusts to her new surroundings.
Well, Seefar, here are a few ideas...I truly wasn't trying to make it hard on anyone, was trying to make it easier! Perhaps make fewer copies, and of course reimburse the sages for their work... You could also learn saging and make your own notebooks... Or have people buy the notebooks and give them to you to copy.... Or have people ask for a copy and then you ask for reimbursement when you give it to them.... Or as you suggested, teach them how to make their own copies....Does any of this help? I don't want any of it to be hard on anyone.
** UPCOMING EVENT ** On Weds Dec 9th at approx 4PM PT in the area of Antonica, a wee Halfling seems to be having a BIG prob! If you are talented in finding things that have been lost - YOU are needed! See you there!
Gnomes are tinkering with explosives again and have gotten dark magicks involved too. The wee halfling's gnomish generator in a box has gone dark and succumbed to sudden death. It's proven impossible to resurrect. The little halfling apologizes that she cannot make it in to ask for your help, but will reschedule as soon as she possibly can.
Now, I got an email for your reply just now, Elyshka, so I wonder why I don't get them for every update? I will try and remember to come and check the forum once a day. Thank you.
Oh no! Those darned spirits just seem to blow away on a breeze, don't they? Don't worry though. Just keep watching for more "news" in another week or so. Is there a best day/time for our spirit-minded friend to appear to more readily reach your friend?
The time today was good for a Saturday, so long as I/we know it's going to happen He would've made it except his portal crashed while he was zoning.
Hello Everyone, Home Tours Tuesday the 15th, 4 - 6 PM PT. Guild Hall Tours Sunday the 20th, 2 - 4 PM PT Important FYI (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Important FYI (open) Important FYI (close) 1) You as the owner of the home or a member of the guild must be there to show me around. Guides cannot enter homes or guild halls unescorted. (I guess we turn into Freebloods temporarily!) 2) I simply log in and announce I am ready to start. Then I write down the names of the people who let me know that they want to show their homes. We go in the order that I receive the names. It takes about 20 - 30 minutes to get through a tour of a guild hall or home. 3) Everyone is welcome to come along on the tours. It's fun! 4) Everyone is invited to show their home or guild hall. One home or one guild hall per person per tour. It's fine if your home is not published. Please be ready to give very clear directions to your home in the general channel, whether published or not, when your turn comes. 5) Say nice things. Encourage new decorators. We all started somewhere. 6) No stories are told. No quests are done. This is simply for the pleasure of hanging out with other decorators and getting new ideas, encouraging each other, and having fun. 7) Just let me know when I am in game, and I will add your name to the list. Or contact me in the forums, via private message.
