Your input on Necro ability's needed.

    I have a few questions.

    1) How well do necro's do in soloing?

    2) how well do necro's contribute to group's?

    3) what do necro's primarly use, Dot's or DD spells?

    1) How well do necro's do in soloing?
    I do good soloing. I can pretty much solo anything non heroic. groups of 3 or 4 non heroic white conned no problem.

    2) how well do necro's contribute to group's?
    On short fights, not a whole lot. on long fights we can deal very good damage. stun comes in handy

    3) what do necro's primarly use, Dot's or DD spells

    DOT's which is why in short fight we dont do a whole lot of damage. not enough time to even get the dots off sometimes.

    1) We're good on soloing. Tear through solo con mobs, able to solo heroics.

    2) About as much as any other damage class. We have decent hp/intel buffs. FD + Rez is very usefull.

    3) I personally think of our dps about 1/3 pet, 1/3 DoTs, 1/3 Nukes.

    Necro needs some love but they're not horrible to play. Our pets need some upgrading. Our caster pets need to do more damage. They need to build in a taunt ability for the tank pets in my opinion too that could be toggled on and off, so if you actually get a group the pet doesn't pull aggro from tank. I wish the pets would auto lifetap like in EQOA too instead of from a buff you cast on them.
