You Abandon Your Preparations To Make Camp

We fixed some AAs causing this to happen. I added the chat message with the last update to make the offenders more obvious. I'll update that ability so it no longer breaks camp.

So the ability is always active even if there is no minion active?

Yesterday's patch notes:

Fixed some abilities causing Summoners to ‘abandon camp’.

I've not yet tested tha.

The problem is AA related, not pet. It doesn't exist on the TLE servers, and my baby necro didn't start experiencing it until she had around 110 AA, which I let the game auto-spend for me. I tend to fine tune AA later, rather than as I go.

Heh! I don't trust the game at all to auto-spend for me, and with the most recent toons I've created, I've gone in, gotten their /claim stuff (better bags, cloaks and rings of fast movement, etc.), adjusted the Alt+O stuff (though frankly, if I've based my formatting on another toon I have where it's already fixed, I'm not sure why I'd have to do the Alt+O stuff again...), and rolled back just about every single AA tree possible back to the beginning, especially the Tradeskill and TS Prestige ones. If I'm not sure yet where I want to put the points, I'll just roll it back and spend them myself as I get them. ;->

That way, when I Commit to the changes, it doesn't completely cancel everything yet, because I haven't set up anything in the "Until Cancelled" category yet. ;->

Heh. There are drawbacks to letting the game auto-spend. My poor inky...I have no idea what half the spells on her hotbar do. Haven't actively played her since she was about 35, and she's now 97. One of these days I'm going to have to read them over and see what she's capable of.

Amazing what those gather quests in ToV, and the missions in AoM will do for levels.

Need a flying mount. She was max level carpenter, so np with that part.

Edit: Oh, and don't be afraid of dying. It will happen. Danged wisps usually.

I've got Uwk at 92/100 Zerker/Armorer, but my only other crafter over 85 is my li'l 100th level Carpy Sarnak...unfortunately, she's only in her 40s, adventure-wise. :-/

Weeee......I know its been awhile since i visited this topic. Welp, still happens on my ranger but something strange this time. I didnt print screen on it but I got text in Red that said Your attempt to cast You Want Something Done Right II while sitting, you abandon your preparation to camp. Or something like that but I have never seen the underline before.
So that is something new on my end. As I said this is on my ranger. I do have necro but havent logged him in few weeks.

My Assassin is having the same problem with the same message.

Holy [censored] I think you've solved it. At least for me. I haven't had a camp interrupted all day, and I have five conjurers (because it's the only class I'm good at).

Do you have any Scouts? Because it seems the issue shifted to them, now... :-/

My necro has been camping properly now. Hopefully it is fixed.

Tried my Scouts, and my most recent Scout (created on the 19th) had no issues /camping...he had TONS of issues zoning into an alt's 2-room New Halas house. He'd get in, last for about 2-3 seconds (literally) and get booted to Character Select, repeatedly. :-/

None of my older Scouts had this issue...

Ouch!! Most of the time when I have issues with my Summoner type classes, I don't get the full "you're casting a spell of some sort!" bit, just I break camp without input from me. :-/

At least, as far as I know; guess I'll have to check the logs. :-/
