Words of the Wicked vs Rending Frenzy??

    Dont seem to find any differences between the 2 spells. Why we get these 2 pet buffs at lvl 39 and lvl 40?

    I personally don't use pet buff in group, drains too much power, I might as well pack a few more DD in. Why not give us an undead mez spell instead :p

    "Grant's necromancer's minion a lifetap proc, and increases hate towards minion"


    "Grants pet increased damage and grants special ability to counterattack"


    They aren't similar. WotW helps pet get and hold aggro while RF increases his ability to damage once he has aggro.

    So there is a difference in battle with the pet that you noticed between the 2? Not sure if you have noticed, SOE gives our class the same spell (same use with different name) every 14 levels with only minor exception, our last pet buff spell is at lvl 25 which is 14 levels away (not including the even more useless training pet buff which drains 45 power per tick). Just weird that we get both at lvl 39 and lvl 40.
