It's too late for the 2019 event, but can we PLEASE just have the Fireworks be sold by the Merchants and gotten out of the purple glowies? Please? They're fun, they're festive, they're colorful, and they're a right PitA when they don't stack beyond 10 and clutter up the purple glowies, when you've been spending hours trying to get those bloody rare collection items and don't want to have to spend 3-4 figures on the Broker for each one. X-P If anyone wants the Fireworks, they can spend Cogs or in-game currency or something other than actual real time on them. Please. Uwk who's also spent waaay too long trying to get 1 set of each of the 3 types of Fireworks, and wound up with 4-5 sets of the other 2 before getting anywhere near the third one...
Another request, as house item recipes: those groovy round, curving railings here and there in the Gnomeland buildings, especially in the Inn/Stove and Keg local station area, the big two-story Quonset hut where the Mythbuster guys are hanging out 'round back at the target range. ;-> I know we have lots of plain columns and similar things (gotta love those Carbonite Rollers!), but nothing to really do the "corners" of those really thin railings. If we could get them in the usual metals, that would even entail multiple recipes. Uwk
I would like to see long straight pipes that are thin and can be reduced really small and really large. Also active gears that can be reduced really small. Need these to make items for a house I am working on right now. Thank you Billie
We have lots of things that are proximity-detected: enemies on holidays that we can't first-strike against but have to get within kissing distance of them, un-Stealthed, before we can engage them; Magic Mouth Signs and Actors who only do their thing when someone gets within a certain distance; etc. And now that Frostfell trees stay lit even when you leave the house, how about: Motion Detection Lights! That are actually usually off, but come on when someone's a certain pre-set distance from them! Uwk who thinks it'd be great for dramatic effects, as well as potential security aids
Another thing I'd like for this year's Tinkerfest: real round, curving railings, like the ones in the Quonset hut Provisioner crafting space and inn in Gnomeland Security, the ones that guard along the staircase heading up to the loft to the bed space. I wouldn't actually necessarily want the "beams," the long part of the rails, to be curved; I can imagine the kind of headaches that would take, but I'd love it if the connection areas were curved like what I'm thinking of, nice and smooth and SMALL, compared to the Copper Plated Pipes, with perhaps a tighter bend like what you might expect on a railing vs. a pipe carrying steam or water or natural gas or whatever. ;-> And in all the different metals possible, including one set looking silvery, one looking like gold or rhodium, one looking like copper, 'cause you never know what the metal theme is gonna be in a given TF house. ;-> EDIT: A screenshot might be helpful: It's not the best (though the straight railing "beams" are there on the second floor), but if you've ever been in Gnomeland Security, you'll (hopefully) recognize the building I'm talking about. Around the back are the "Mythbusters" gnomes testing out their latest targeting system, and there's a manhole cover leading to an instance behind them. ;-> Uwk
