I would love a paddle lock that is not attached to anything. Maybe a couple...one really old and rusty maybe even with a old fashioned key in it and a nice shiny new one that you could see gears or something to make it look all complicated.

"Paddle locks"? Must be an Eastern thing...like this? :-/

Kinda paddle-shaped, I'll grant, but "padlock" works for this iggerant Westerner (they're "rubber bands," not "elastics"!). ;->

And yeah, it'd be cool to have a variety of them! Gnomes should be paranoid of at least other gnomes swiping their designs (no one else would a) be brave enough to touch something that might explode on them and/or b) understand how it worked). ;->

    Here's a li'l suggestion:

REGULAR. (SQUARE) TILE. OF. IMPACTED. METAL.

And it should be back-filled into the Tinkerfest Blueprints 4.0, since it was completely forgotten by the devs at the time, and grandfathered in, so that anyone who has the book right now can make 'em. >:-/

Shoot, nowadays I'd settle for more recipes in the first Apprentice Blueprints 1.0 book, period...that first 20 skill-ups is a hell of a hump to get over. After that, it's not too bad going from 20 to 25. X-P

    You mean this one?

Pastafazool! It wasn't on any of my Tinkering recipe lists with the rest of the Impacted Metal line (4.0), or even on the EQ2 Furniture page; the only one I saw there was the Rounded Tile of Impacted Metal... :-/

And the link's broken to whatever the image was above the actual Tile...and yeah, I just now went back to EQ2 Furniture, looked under the Tiles category, with just the name Metal, and only found the following:

Rounded Tile of Burnished Metal (only SC, apparently...grrr)
    Rounded Tile of Impacted Metal
    Rounded Tile of Rusty Metal
    Thurgadin Souvenir Metal Tile (square)
Tile of Burnished Metal (again, only SC, dangnabbit, but square)

That was it...do they have the recipe name under Impactedmetal or some such? :-/

who'll look again to make sure the recipe didn't get Hidden for some strange reason, but I had a character who, last night, literally (FINALLY) got to Tinkering 25 and could finally scribe the Tinkerfest Books, so she didn't have time or chance to Hide any recipes from there... :-/

That tile is Impacted Floor Plating, and it's from the Tinkerfest 2.0 book. Many of the Tinkerfest block sets have tiles that were introduced earlier, and the names don't always match. You can try Category: Building Blocks, Subcategory: Tiles, Holiday or event: Tinkerfest to find them all.

D'oh! Okay, will do; thanks...curse the devs for not planning ahead or being reasonable about the names...of course, had I just looked under Impacted, that might've done it, too. I withdraw my objection to not having square Tiles of it. ;->

who's just thankful the Impacted Floor Plating does count as a Building Block... :-/

Something like the spring sculpture with a lightening effect (think Tesla coils)

Yes like that. Eastern thing...no clue.

Heh, I swear, it's like there's at least four different "languages" here: Northeastern, Southeastern, Far Western, Midwest...what do you call the fizzy drink with sweeteners and flavorings? Soda, pop, soda pop, etc.? Depends on where you're from... :)

I haven't seen any NEW appearance clothes lately . . .. How about something more onthe "STEAMPUNK(y)" side??? We need clothes to go with those goggles we have. And a better steampunk hat.

Would love to have a Baubbleshire Prestige house and the windows w/shutters and doors found in that zone.

OMG Ocarinah I totally agree with you. I want that house. It is very traditional looking but with a tinkerfest flair to it. For some reason I still think that we voted for a house in a prestige house poll once and never got the house for it. I could be wrong though. I know that the Neriak house was on one of the polls and the Oakmyst Glade was on one, so maybe they were from the two different polls? Or was it that we got a good aligned and an evil aligned house?

We did vote on a new prestige house, and I believe Highhold Keep was the winner? Nothing has come of it. o_O

Blergh to Highhold - I'd like the whole of Castleview Hamlet please! Or just a little bit would do...

I wish the gears and cogs would size down smaller. I'm building a synthesizer in my tinkerer's workshop and having a hard time finding things that get small. Not tiny, just small. Also sliders would be nice. Buttons and lights we have, which is great.

There are worktables at the bottom of the elevator in Maldura, with varying bits and bobs on top of them, but all the same worktable underneath. It is wonderfully gnomish and would be great for Tinkerfest. I'd post a pic, but, my site is having problems right now. Hopefully I'll remember to post a pic later, but you can find one in Maldura at 52.97 -7.74 -165.05 50.90 0.00 0.00

And thanks to that lovely, lovely (if still a wee bit culturally imperialistic ;->) quest line from the Frostfell Village, I'll be able to visit Maldura with impunity with any of my toons (except for the youngest babies, freshly made just recently)! Thanks again for that, Devs! :D
