Would like to add Ry'Gorr Keep to this list. Minus the orcs, but with a little bit of the woods and crystal caverns.

    Thanks!

    Agree!!!:)

Add some plants & flowers, and a river or a clear deep lake...my kind of home!

    Bloodskull Valley
This is an isolated instance surrounded by mountains and a desert-like terrain. Ideally I'd prefer the zone-in point for the house straight in front of the primary building area and eliminate the long pathway leading into the zone. I'd also prefer the ruins not be there. Anyways, It's a setting type we do not have right now :)

    Cove of Decay
Surrounded by mountains on one side and water to the other, this property leaves plenty of room to build! Please, please, please keep the water swimmable and this would be an awesome plot :)

    G-Fay Grotto
Full of giant colorful mushrooms a waterfall and a little creek, this instance would be a whimsical place to live! I'd love for the pathway leading into the main space of the grotto to be shortened, or that the housing zone-in was closer to the main space.

    The Shattered Vale
This instance is set in a little nook within Antonica. It isn't a huge space, but it's the perfect location just screaming for a cottage to be built! It's surrounded by mountains, but the Antonica theme makes it an inviting atmosphere. I'd love this instance without such a long zone-in pathway. (And no druid ring! It'd eat up most of the buildable space :p And druid rings are already a house item )

    Winter Wonderland Themed
I don't see the entire zone being offered as a plot... but maybe a smaller version? Or... there's that instance off of the village where you have to collect bottles and then meet the goblins over the rainbow at the end. That's a smaller zone and would be a nice winter scene to build in! Either way, I'd just LOVE a wintery plot :)

Very unfortunately, I started EQ2 not so long ago. I WISH I could experience the starter islands AND the little neighborhoods around Quenos/Freeport. You all talk about these places with such fond nostalgia... I found some of the closed off suburbs, but I found no way in to look at them:(

The prestige housing is great. I currently have the Lavastorm Prestige home, and I love how access was designed. There is one other prestige house I want pretty badly. I will end up with that one too. That said, I have decided that I also "just love houses period"!

You can look in on the old neighborhoods, but only if you have quests that will take you into them. :-/

That might not be too bad, actually, though you'll probably have to Wiki or Zam them (look them up on Allakhazam.com), since the quests don't always link up logically to the people that used to live there, but by coming in "late," you won't have any good memories to be broken by going back into a place where you used to live and have to kill off what were once your friends and neighbors... :-/

GAH!!! My apologies for the double-send; THIS is the sort of reason why I want the ability to delete old posts. >:-|

I would like the area in dark light woods with the river, 2 wooden bridges, small caves, and the TREES! Those beautiful rust colored pine trees!

Thanks Uwk. I was pretty disappointed to find no way inside. :) Having no memories to break is kind of a sad thing though...I like EQ2 very much. I wish I had started playing sooner.

Well, if our requests come to fruition, we might get some of those old suburb neighborhoods as prestige places, without the bad guys...and you can get some of the house items they gave out for the starting racial quests at the City Merchants. If you're Good, go into northern Qeynos and look at the selection in the place across the claymore square, down the way from the bank, to the left of the gate in from Antonica as you come in. There's a Broker guy in there, and to the right as you come in (left as you're leaving), there's city vendor-types that have a nice selection of house items. :)

I actually have a few hours free to play tonight. I will be on my way directly to check this out. I LOVE housing, & I think this is my favorite section of the whole forum. I feel like a little kid in a big candy store! :p

I would like more homes with entrances like the Thurgadin Grand Hall.

I would like the Willow wood, Mara isle, Paineel, New Tunaria or another place with several houses to decorate. A happy place without rain or storm. Maybe some soft snowing would be nice though.

I think the devs finally got the clue about us HATING the stupid weather effects in the prestige houses, and gave us the option, starting with the Galleon of Dreams, to have a way to turn on the weather if we wanted it, depending on the theme. The latest, the Fright Manor (if I remember correctly), has several different gloomy weather patterns...but yeah, falling snow would be nice, though I haven't really seen it in any zone. Everfrost has blown snow flurries here and there, but nothing like snowflakes falling the way the raindrops do when it's raining. Not sure why; just take the rain effect, slow it down, and instead of drops, do something in white. /shrug

I would love to see the Willowood, the Isle of Mara and other beginners zones as houses. Also the starting Island where we were all born....I would really love that :)

Second the idea for the old starter areas!! :D

I have fond memories of the tediously crawling from my house to the suburb bank, back when weight still mattered and coin counted toward it...

    Oh and, Isle of Mara!!
