Please dear Devs, might it be possible to give us building blocks with real swimmeable water? That would be such an awesome feature for so many decorating things!
I thought I ask again because I have seen items that make the character do animations, so I thought it might be technically possible - it would be so incredibly cool! Please pretty please?

Building blocks we could drown in? :D That would be cool, to practice our Swimming skill and to actually have hot tubs and baths we've made that we can sink into and actual water in our break-out areas (I've noticed that if you break out of a Guild Hall, say, into "The Commonlands" or "Antonica," then the water areas other than the oceans don't actually have water in them :(), but I'm not sure how easy or hard it would be for them to do so. I often will just cheat when, say, building big aquariums that can be dived into to do maintenance, feed the fish while the visitors watch, cleaning, etc. and just make the walls out of something like Moving Water or Tapestry of the Steam Lord (can we PLEASE get a Tapestry WITHOUT the stupid torches on the top, devs? Tapestry of the Steam Peasant or something??) or Wispy Vampiric Mirrors (at least one, with the rest of the sides being regular solid Vampiric Mirrors).

I do like that we have "real" water in the prestige houses (except the break-out from the Mistmoore down to the beach), but being able to have that effect as a shapeable sort of thing would be groovy. :)

There was a hidden zone in EQ, you had to travel to a zone. Then go upstream to a cave. Click on an NPC in the cave and say a phrase. That put your character into a series of rooms. Bats, rats, and failed stone golems.

There was one room that had a pool of clear water. It was nice to get up my swimming skill and just goof off there. I remember a walkway on both sides of the long rectangular pool. Enchanted Halls or Hidden Halls I think.

edit: What I mean to say was, I think that look in those halls would be good for a pool we could add to prestige houses that didn't have a pool.

While decorating a New Halas house I realized we don't have a grizzly or polar bear stuffed statue. It would be so cool in our various houses. I'd even buy one if that's what it would take to get one.

Nah, yeah, just the rugs and the trophy head; heck, even with just a plushie (I think we have one for a grizzly, if we crank the size of the bear up; not sure how big the Erollisi "polar" bear can get), that'd be an improvement...though it would be in an awkward pose:

"Um, boss? How long do I have to stand like this? What am I looking for on the ceiling? Or is it a smell thing...?"

The ice sculptures from Permafrost and Frostfell... did we have house items of those? Now I have to go page through EQ2Furniture.com...

    EDIT:
SOME ice sculptures were available from Frostfell, but I don't see any bears (well, an owl-bear, not quite the same thing!) Other than that, pretty much just:
    • a pristine halasian bearskin rug (Crafted from Carpenter Essentials Volume 40)
    • Warm Direbear Pelt (Crafted from Frostfell Feasts and Decorative Crafts X)
    • Bear Head Trophy (Crafted from Vetrovian Carpenter's Primer Volume V)
    • Grizzly Bear Plushie (Marketplace)
    • Were-Bear Plushie (Were-Bear Plushie)
    • Painting: The Bear (LON Oathbound pack loot item)

I know I have a polar bear head trophy in my Mystic's inn room, I think that was a quest reward. I'll have to check for the name...

I'm looking for a fierce, standing up on its hind legs bear to scare people who enter the house lol. I currently have some sort of bear-like creature, that's pretty gruesome, but isn't really Nordic in style like a polar bear would be or the grizzly for other houses (visit Community Crafting and Travel Center, on Public Test to see what I mean). The only thing that would need to be changed, between a polar bear and grizzly, is the skin. The Frostfell polar bear plushie is too cute to be a stuffed trophy but it is great in a kid's room or with a bunch of other plushies.

I want to decorate one of my prestige houses to resemble the B&W tv show Addams Family house.

So, I guess this is a good place to put this. I'm hoping a dev will see this. I'd really love to see the building block size standardized. The halasian size 6 building blocks are not the same size as *pick any other non holiday building block*. Holiday building block size 6 is different than the other two. I know that the marble are twice as big and that's fine because it's easy to remember to fix. But having to figure out how many blocks you need to replace another set is difficult if the sizes aren't the same.

Hmm! I knew that the various "tiles" and what-not from the various prestige house recipes didn't necessarily match with the regular building blocks, and that some Narrow or Tall Dividers or Tiles, for example, got up to 12 while others only got to 6, but I thought that all the ones from the regular carpenter recipes were standardized (where 6 = 6 across the board)? :-/ Or is it the Halas City Festival ones don't scale up the same compared to, say, the wooden Halasian things we got in that "upgrade" to the carpy recipes? :-/ And, for instance, the Frostfell ones aren't compatible with either? :-/

Any way you slice it, yeah, that sucks that they aren't more standardized (why not? there're certain formats one follows for, say, a published PDF or any other document: Heading 1 has these parameters, Heading 2 those, etc.), and I completely agree that they should be standardized across the board to enable better building block use. Most/all of the various animation companies have art sheets and style "bibles" to follow; didn't this game? :-/

(Critter art variations, I can see [griffons rock, gryphons suck]. Even geology, which has been pointed out in other threads. ;-> But simple geometric shapes?? How tough would that be to say, "Blocks are 2 of these standard units in each dimension. Half Blocks are 1 unit wide, 1 unit high, 2 units long. Dividers are --" etc., and apply those guidelines to anything called a building block, no matter the origin?)

I would love to have access to some of the older prestige houses that were rewards for ordering the expansions. Especially for those of us who only recently began playing.

Well, we did finally get the recipes for those expacs' architecture released to the Marketplace... I'd like to see the houses there, too, if the devs are squeamish about putting them on the Loyalty Merchants. ;->

Mirror Tiles. Pretty pretty pretty please.
    No frame. No border.
    Just Mirror Tiles.

Also the ability to buy back our Hoo'loh hats on either the Shady Swash or Loyalty Merchant. I accidentally sold 1 of mine way back in the day before the "buy back" option on a merchant was a thing and have been kicking myself ever since. :(

I would love this as a rug!!! It is located in Obol Plains at /loc 480.33, 24.17, 575.05 - it is to the left and right of the stairs leading up to the door to Harrows' End (which also has a lot of great items that could be used for deco items).

Which class did you lose? I know the Monk and Bruiser class hats have been repurposes numerous times as gear that drops between Echoes of Faydwer and Destiny of Velious (though in different colors). Every other class in the game has at least a different colored version drop either as raid gear from Mistmoore's Inner Sanctum (1 in 4 chance of getting your armor type, which you then choose which one you want), or sporadically as other drops in those mentioned expansions.

I'm unable to post a picture link here because things no longer work on this message board for some reason despite my efforts...

The Tome of Destiny has an art asset found inside the library area in Vasty Deep: The Abandoned Labs. Considering how EQ2 started off by playing out the lore of the Tome of Destiny and it's lovely images when the game first started, it'd be nice to have it as a house furniture. Bonus points if you can somehow allow us to relive that sequence.

I recommend Imgur for hosting an image, then you can "insert image" using the URL from there.
