(nah; who'd want a thawed-out McScroogle around the house? unless you could treat him like Qho...hmm....)

I have just a nit-piggledy suggestion, but I like to think it's valid: can we PLEASE put all the services for the FF Village in one spot, specifically moving the impossible-to-find-because-it's-smaller-than-the-sign-it's-on mailbox up with the Bank, the Mender, the Vendors, etc.? Please?? :-/

    Uwk
who finally found the stupid thing the other day, and had to constantly remember where he had... X-P
(but is, nonetheless, insanely grateful for the year-'round FF crafting he's been pushing for since his first Frostfell in 2006)

Frostfell isn't Over this Year, but I do still Have a few more Suggestions, so this will give the Devs almost a full year to figure things out...

More snow tile/pile options in different shapes, sizes, and textures (Or as I mentioned before the draping ability so that it will conform to whatever you drape it over)

Ice Tiles that you can skate on, as well as Clear glass Window tiles with maybe just a lightly frosted edge, as well as some Frostfell Themed Stained Glass Windows

More styles of Snowmen (CRAFTED PLEASE). Maybe some with scarves and knit caps, maybe a Snow Baby?

Treetopers! Stars or Angels (Cloudrat Angel Tree Topper would be AWESOME! (She's so CUTE)

Add a couple more quest reward options to Gh'Lad. One with garlands and baubles, one with Minature rocking horses and drums and toy soldier ornaments, one with miniature angles and tinsel (Or icecicles). And PLEASE Make it Possible to have more than one of these options running at a time! And Make them STAY ON when we Leave our Homes, or atleast once the Homes are Published!

I Loved the new crafted trees and wreath this year. Maybe more options of wreaths next year, with the look of the garlands we got this year? With and without lights, and with the ability to add or change the lights and Ornaments with the styles I mentioned above?

This part isn't a suggestion, but kind of a Miny rant...WHO THE HECK THOUGHT A SPIDER WAS AN APPROPRIATE MOUNT FOR FROSTFELL?! Yuck! I didn't even want the one from NotD (Can you say Arachniphobia?)

Ok, Back to Ideas...More dinner wear! I Mentioned in a post last year for Frostfell that I would Like cut Crystal Goblets in red and gold and green, and Maybe a Blue and white for those who celebrate something Other than Frostfell.

A falling Snowflake Tapestry that we can Place in the Niches in the wall of our GHs so that they Look like you are Looking out a window at a snowing sky, kind of like the falling rose petal cloak/tapestry I've seen. Would be Awesome if they Scaled Big enough to Fill the indents in the entry way walls of the T@ SQ GH.

More Garlands and Swags With different shadings, lights, or ornament options (See above)

I saw the Sled on the Marketplace, And Loved it. Would like one in a green shade, like the one I had when I was Kid.

A Horse Drawn Carriage or Sleigh would be great, especially if we could actually ride it around the outside of our houses. Could have tiles with a track on it that guides the sleigh, so people could make their own pathing anywhere they wanted the carriage to go, so visitors can be taken to the places the Decorators really want them to see most.

I agree with previous Posters who mentioned Fur lined cloaks and Boots. And would Love the ability to turn the appearance clothing into a house item that can be draped over a bed or "Hung" in a wardrobe! That would be SWEET!

More Holiday themed Pets. Loved the Kittens and Puppies with Wreaths around their necks, but think I would Like versions with bows wither tied around the neck, ot the star shaped bows on their heads. Also versions with scarves, and maybe Booties on their feet.

Gifts in various states of being wrapped (neat) or Unwrapped (wrapping ripped). Someone else already mentioned partially used rolls of wrapping paper. A pair of scissors and a roll of tape would be cute, too...

And this Last isn't exactly frostfell related, but I was wondering if we could take some of the Frostfell feast iteams 9gravy boat, Veggies, etc) and get them in a NONfrostfell design? Maybe in fiesta wear colors?

XD I loved the spider mount for frostfell! XD But I'm weird like that. I sympathise with my poor 8 legged friends. Just because they look different nobody likes them and tryies to squish them. Bout time the poor lil guys were let in on the fun of Frostfell.. ehh.. that one's not so small... >.> I wouldn't want to be left alone with a spider that size mind you, but yah. Holidays are for every one. XD

Amen! IMHO, if you love, or at least don't mind, Yellow Fever, Malaria, locusts, bot flies (you do NOT want to know any more about those flies than the name...trust me), etc., go ahead and hate spiders...but how can you hate this...?

It's so cute and fuzzy! :D

    Or this...
From what I know of this species, that "smile" isn't Photoshopped. :)

And this is probably where they got the idea for a Frostfell spider:
We have these outside in the "patios" and other regions of our apartment complex. They're about the size of my pinky finger nail and are very cute and fluffy, looking like a bit of lichen or a pebble except for the red. :)

LOL, well, they call it a Phobia because it is an Irrational Fear. Been terrifed of spiders since I was 5. Finally started getting over the fear a few years ago, then got Bit by one, and the fear came back....

Oog...which one, Black Widow or Brown Recluse? :-/

    Uwk
who's been bitten by a Reclusoid, and had to go to the doctor's back when he was a lowly kit...got out of school for a day, but still not something to repeat ;->
  8. Uwkete-of-Crushbone Well-Known Member

Aww! Looks kind of like an Elton John spider, but that should give folks an indication of how teeny it really is; I don't think the finger it's sitting on was Photoshopped. ;->

And a lovely orb-weaver web shot, too! :)

Actually it was a common Grey House spider that bit me, but it was a nightmare about being covered in Millions of Black Widow Spiders that originally triggered the Phobia

Away from spiders, back to Frostfell... ;->

I've ranted about this elsewhere (probably in the Test forum), but I thought I had here, too; turns out I haven't (at least that I've found), so you all get to put up with it here... ;->

I like the new Village, to an extent (the "extent" is largely a matter of learning where all the stuff is now); I like that we can ride mounts in it now (though I do miss the slide; not all my toons have "parachute" capability yet ;->) and that the ice is a lot more civilized now (no freaking sliding forever trying to pick up one purple glowie, or loot a presents node; must be roughened ice as opposed to really slick [but what do I know, I'm a native of So. Cal. and have seen ice in a drink, a freezer, and a skating rink]). One thing I'd still ask for, for next year though: please, please, PLEASE, can we tone down the light blazing down in the daytime? Make it overcast like Thundering Steppes or so in the daytime and clear at night (I hear that happens in places where it snows/ices), so we can see the lovely stars, auroras, romantic bits of Luclin, etc., still. But seriously, that daytime snow blindness is murder, even with all the Personal Torches off. And with fighting now required in the once-peaceful Village (part of the "extent"), it's not like we can afford to wear snow goggles instead of real helmets. Turning off the Bloom effects didn't help with mine, since I'd never had them on in the first place, and adjusting the Brightness for this one zone just screwed everything else up. X-P

who's tired of getting glare headaches in-zone, and can't be the only one :-/

It did get a tad on the bright side, didn't it. XD
    >.> Maybe they'll give us those auto adjust sunglasses? you know, the ones that darken and lighten depending on how much light you are in? =P .... maybe attach them to a fake santaglug beard.. it'll be like a Frostfell santaglug version of Groucho Marx glasses! Everah bodah looks happier in a santaglug beard!

Hmm, don't know how appropriate this is for Homeshow (other than mannequins), but I've been looking for ages for the Snappy Red equivalents to Snappy Blue Bracers (and I think there's Snappy Green ones?), which would complete the Snappy Red outfit. ;->

EDIT (09/01/14; they lifted the max. editing time! Woot!!): This is in the clothing line of the Frostfell recipe books. ;->

EDIT (holy sin frijoles! still editable! wonder what's the criterion, since not all posts are created equal, apparently): hmm. Guess I'll see what happens with this idea come this year's Frostfell. Can't wait! :)

Here's another perhaps odd suggestion: you know all those HEIRLOOM ONLY things Santa Glug keeps giving out? The interminable Gumdrops, the dungeon things (THANK YOU, DEVS for adding the line on those about "You've already used this, idiot; sell it somewhere"! Saves a lot of steps!), the Enchanted Snow whatevers, etc., etc., etc... Even I can't keep up with the amount of alts it would take to get those things out of the Bank (THANK YOU again for making some Vendorable! Now if we can just get the rest un-NO-VALUEd...), so if we could make those HEIRLOOM and LORE, and if we already have one, Santa Glug would have to give us something else...like more House Item type stuff! :D

Another wish: we only get 2 chances at "Evil" trees, and I always thought Gorowyn would have them, too (since about the only thing Good folks can't do there is buy a house, but still, they're considered "bad guys"), but they don't...I'd kind of like to see a choice: one goblin at one end of that dock, the other, at the other...Good folks have numerous chances to get Good trees, and Evil ones can get a "Good" tree at Gorowyn, but Good folks can't get an "Evil" tree...even though they're cool (as is the dialogue when you return to the seller...). :(

Personally, I would love to see the no-trade removed from ALL items...making them at least heirloom...and please, for the love of whatever Gods you all worship...STOP making everything heirloom! I absolutely loathe not being able to put stuff I will never use because all my characters are too high level or the wrong race or class or profession or whatever, on the broker. Just because I can't/won't use it, doesn't mean there isn't someone out there who can/would use it.

I don't care if vendor trash can't be brokered...in fact it's great if you can't put vendor trash on the broker...but weapons and armor should be able to be sold on the broker...why oh why would you decide suddenly to make it all heirloom?

Tell me also...why are there some items treasured or above that cannot be transmuted? I'm not talking about consumable items or items that stack...I'm talking some regular gear items. At least, I have discovered, they can usually be salvaged...but I don't understand the reasoning behind them being not transmutable? Sometimes the decisions made by the devs just totally confuses me. :D

This is my Frostfell wish for this year. :)

    AMEN! :D

Even HEIRLOOM, I can live with, if I could at least Vendor 'em. I'm just not sure why they need to be, either; I mean, if the Powers were seriously worried about inflation, or greed-heads throwing stuff up on the Broker that folks could just buy and not have to do the quests to get (hey, only one alt on a server would need to get all the HEIRLOOM stuff and cover all the rest, amiright, devs?), why give us Bags of Platinum (which I'm actually not complaining about, believe it or not; it's the main way I can afford the rent on the best houses!)?

Not just Frostfell that sins this way, but other hols as well (Nights of the Dead and that ridiculous Nightmarish Ceremonial Plate ___________, I'm looking at you; NO-VALUE? Seriously? It's too cool to just DESTROY, but it doesn't stack [even though it's not real armor], and I don't need dozens of pieces of it in the Bank)... :-/
