Good ideas, but probably a bit late for Frostfell this year. I never got any of the forgotten pools trees, red or blue. And that's BAAAD, kids. Mkay?
Aw... I think the blue ones can only be gotten off the Loyalty Merchant if you're a Member, which is weird (why is that even a thing? Why make things so darn "exclusive, darling " [especially after they, the Powers, were the ones who decreed that F2P was the default, contrary to any other MMO out there]?). Uwk who, iirc, never got one of the red ones, either...
And here we go 1. Peppermint garland with candy then small bead/light from the fairy lights garland. Can be done in all sorts of colors. 2. Tile and rug that when you step on it snowflakes come up. 3. snow covered roofs 4. Snow covered wood shingled roof tile. 5. log cabin building blocks 6. Pictures with FF scenes from around Norrath. a. Snow covered Qeynos. b. Caroling Ogres in Freeport wearing Santa Glug hats-heck put some real ones in FP. c. The Twelve days of Christmas Norrath style. One painting for each of the days. 7. Straight string of lights like vibrant twinkling lights. (I need to do a Griswold house with my guild hall lol). 8. Evergreen trees, nice full ones without lights and decorations. Both with and without snow. 9. Stars for FF trees. 10. Gates/fencing made from ice. 11. Ice covered trees with no leaves. Just a dead looking tree like the gallows one that have icicles hanging from it.. 12. Chimney with snow on it. Off to next one..umm..Eday I think
Of all of those wonderful suggestions, I think my faves have got to be the actual cities, at least Qeynos and Freeport, actually looking like it was mid-winter. Granted, even southern California in RL doesn't look like it's mid-winter, unless you count when we get rainstorms... :-/ But even we get snow on the mountains. Uwk
I vote that we get "only" 9 new things from Santa Glug for Frostfell and that's it, and the 7 old things are auto-magically guaranteed to be on a merchant in the Village somewhere (I know some show up there on occasion, but if we knew for a fact that the 7 oldsters were there, that'd make a huge difference). If that gives the devs hives, they could put such things on the gobbo that won't talk to you until you've done something for them (either Mission: Improbable or the crafting cave thing, either of which take time but are easy and don't involve any fighting ), but I'd like them to be available for just in-game currency, rather than E'ci Tokens. :-/ That way, we'll have the chance to get everything we want in the new stuff, and even everything we want of the old! Or maybe, have like a "New Stuff" (from last year's Santug?) merchant and an Old Stuff merchant (with ALL the old stuff; Uwkete personally has most if not all of it, in case the code has gone missing), the way the other holidays are going; I wouldn't mind that. And it wouldn't take anything out of Daybreak's pockets to do so; I do think it'd cut down on the aggravation and screaming at RNGeezus and Santug... "Festive Spren AGAIN?!
