I just finished two large decoration projects and really wanted material to build a wall with. I was trying to cover the broken fence in the Halas breakout. That being said I would river rock in big chunky pieces as tiles, steps and rails. I know this was something Domino was looking into, before she left too. Heck wall sections to match the different cities would be nice too.

I would love to see Sanctus Seru tiles to match the colors in the dais.... soft violets, yellows and blues would be awesome!

Housepets that stay put.... I wanted to build a shop but the cats did not stay in one place...so frustrationing!

I would also like more paintings.. something nice like the LON ones, or silly caricatures would be fun....

Also more lights with natural light when looking at them against white.... it is frustrating there are not enough, bright lights like the Ironwood lamp. They are either yellow, green, orange of blue.

Last but not least I wold love plant items not to count on total or to be able to purchase expanders if needed. One day
I would like to decorate my Halas Breakout house too....

If it's the back yard/balcony fence I'm thinking of in that house, what I'd do is get one of the Divider types and increase the scale of it considerably; kicking it up to 6.00 or 12.00 (depending on the type; I think all the Marketplace stuff scales up that big) will increase the thickness to the point where I think the fence could be hidden in that. If you want to not block off your view, you can always flip a Divider so that the bottom center anchor point is now on the top, which lets you "settle" a Divider piece to any height you need, like just barely taller than the fence itself.

Barring that, I'd use Tiles, since they seem to come in more variety, thanks to the Moonlight Grotto events. Get two of 'em, flip them both vertically, and "sandwich" the fence in between. Maybe place a Railing or even a Stair on "top" of the two of them, so it doesn't show the gap between. But the Divider is easy; one piece, and it's already vertical; no unseemly wrestling with the thing, or at least, very little. ;->

I'd like Dividers that replicate the cities' architecture and materials, too! :)

(If you expect cats to stay put, lovey, you're doomed to disappointment... :D)

For bright lights with shades, I love the Kunzite lamps; they look very similar to the Ironwood, and use regular materials! :D One thing to recommend: if you're not using it already, get familiar with www.EQ2Furniture.com, and when you're looking under the Lights category, go over to the right side where it says "Description text:" (third up from the bottom) and type in some variation on: shines brightly; that way, you can quickly get a good overview on all the lights we have that actually do something in the way of light production. ;) Imho, we need more like that, and made from ordinary materials. :)

I love all the suggestions for new items for Moonlight Enchantment. I guess we all may feel that the more decorating items the better! I do appreciate that developers have listened to the decorating community and continue to feed our passion with new items.

I do have one request. The Moonlight Enchantment item count continues to grow, but I find personally that I can not longer replenish my needed supplies within the two day window. Could we double or triple the the reward for making root beer? Could Moonlight Enchantment be held twice a month or for a week each month? Something so that it keeps pace with the number of items being added.

    Thanks so much,

Fortunately, it's not just for root beer any more! :D As a matter of fact, unless I'm deliberately looking for the Spice Bracket house item thingee (which shows in like every 200+ harvests, if you're lucky :-/), I'll forego the root beer and do the Candied Mushroom Tart (ick) in the Nektulos Forest one; it's way easier to harvest everything you need quickly, since it's so small an area. :)

On the flip side is the Greater Faydark one, where they want you to make tea of some sort (I suppose they could have a fourth thing in, say, the Antonica one; "dig up enough rocks of various sorts and make us tree-folk some lovely Mineral Pudding" or something else non-drink; the Enchanted Lands one is too full of violence ;->). I strongly recommend, if you're going the Greater Fay route, to have a "find these freaking nodes quickly, please" sort of thing up, because the ingredients are literally all over the place (though more closer to the faeries, I think), and that place is HUGE. Well that about sums it all up! nothing else left to be said. Maybe some new ground coverings would be nice, along with maybe morning glory bushes, ( all in pinks, purples, or whites ) Maybe some Angels Trumpet ( floral vines ) Fruit tress, of all sorts, maybe some recipes from the same merchants that are similar to the vampiric mirrors, from Nights of the dead! Maybe 10 charge recipe scroll to create 1 - 3 of the same items, using regular harvests. These could be used through out the year, and the recipes can be stackable. Speaking of stackable maybe put the recipe scrolls for the mirrors in one stack!

Hopefully this will spark some more ideas to come into play!

Oops!! Maybe allow us to change the tones / colors / styles keeping in with the city housing for either a more refined look, or a rougher look. Qeynos for example, pretty floor, coloring can be way to dark. Options of making it darker or lighter. MAYBE? MAYBE?

I'd really like to acquire my very own circle of dancing brownies! And the musicians! Also the dancing fauns.

I'm kind of surprised we didn't get something like that from the most recent Spring Celebration thing (with the Beast'r Eggs)...

I feel like we've asked for this multiple times, but I'll put in another request...
Please, please, pretty please.... can we have ROUND watery tiles?
Did I mention pretty please? :D
  12. Uwkete-of-Crushbone Well-Known Member

Yeah! It seems like we have them in each of the standard building block shapes -- if they're the ones I'm thinking of... :-/

There's the Moving Water Spray Rounded Tile, but I've never considered them "round," per se... X-P

(Seriously, O Powers: how much more would it have taken to give those things TWELVE sides instead of only ten...?)

Hard to see in this version, but that's stolen -- er, directly borrowed from Lera's website. ;)

I know about / have the Moving Water set, but I'd still like a round version of the actual Watery Tile. It just looks better for aquariums.

Ah, like the ones from the Moonlight Enchantment events? Yeah, that would be cool; I'd like to see both of those in all the Building Block options (well, maybe not the Windows and Doorways; that would be hard to explain...). :)

I'd like to see the misty tiles in other colors. Like green, pink, purple, and yellow.

Yeah, the whole gamut of the spectrum! Though if it could double as a flowing water, or at least liquid, surface...yellow...I dunno, though a combo of that and green and purple could add up to quite the swamp. :)

For the next Kelethin Fest', should the vendor include music boxes for Ak'anon, Felwithe, and Kaladim in their inventory?

Which is to say, boxes that are designed like they are from those former player cities.

Yeah; the ones we get on the Frostfell Village merchants for Qeynos and Freeport are just a little too generically boring. :(

I would love to see some frosted leaf or frosted grass tiles. Something in the same color scheme as the frosted hedges
