That would be an exceedingly douchey thing to do. Yes they should fix the appearance issue but trying to reverse the charges simply because you gambled and didn't like the outcome is somewhere between theft and fraud. Don't be that sort of person.

I don't know how many mercs there are, but a die has six sides, six possible outcomes. Rolling a 1 four times in a row would be a 1 in 1,296 chance (6x6x6x6). Math geeks FTW P.S. I didn't buy any.
Not only did she get the same crate 2 times in a row; she got 3 of the exact same items in each crate, which means that dice row was even MORE complex than 1 in 1,296. Were there 9 possible mercs she could have received? then do the math on that.
If I am correct there are 11 possible mercenaries from a crate. There are weighted to the 5 common mercenaries so you would have to estimate the algorithm of getting common, uncommon, rare and ultra-rare mercs as it will not be straight math. I was good in math at one time but that was 20+ years ago.
BUYER BEWARE. DBG did NOTHING to rectify me getting four of the SAME MERC IN A ROW. So my advice, don't buy the bloody things. This happened to me as well. Multiple versions of the same merc. I sold them for status. $50 on mercs and they are no better than any merc you can get in qeynos or freeport. They just took stamper and a monk merc and put illusions on them. I was very disappointed. Live and learn.
Three more words. Kander is king. ^ And how about giving the healer mercs a water breathing spell? Got me stuffed why they don't all have one.
Can you share what happened? Is there a general fix? Or did you just get your money back? Not too interested in falling into the same pit you did. I have yet to purchase one of these crates and still hesitate to do so unless DBG has come up with a fix?
My guess, they gave the person a merc of their choice. At the same time, I highly doubt anyone else will get similar treatment. After all, it is a gamble, and they didn't put up a post saying, "if you didn't like the merc you got from the crate, give us a tell and we will switch it out for you." Otherwise, they would have just added them to a loyalty merchant or DBC store for purchase, so you could select the exact one you want. Who would buy the common ones... lol
