Hello and good day I just started playing about a month ago and recently acquired the mercenary addon So far I have a level 25 Fae Warden that i really like and a level 10 Ogre Shadowknight that moves too slow but fights well. Before i invest a lot of time in a fighter class What is the most useful raid fighter that is also decent at solo. With a merc it may be what is the most useful fighter class. I want to start one in each type (priest/fighter/mage/scout) but i would hate to get to endgame to find out I made a dud. And I like to play everything. Root and nuke, hack and slash, its all good. This game is crazy fun and the questing is really well laid out. I love it. Thanks for any help you can provide to set me on the right path.
Tanks are probably the most balanced of any archetype as long as you don't roll a Bruiser. Bruisers are good for PvP but not as useful as other fighters for PvE. If you're not going to raid best would probably be Shadowknight, Paladin, or Berserker. Monks/Guardians are better in raid content.
