What is the difference between Acumen and Minion's Acumen?

I was just sorting a ton of temp adorns on one of my main toons. Initially thought it was only three basic types: basic=hour, extended=four hours, and maintain=eight hours. Those would make a nice neat row in one bag. Except there's also Minion's versions. What is the difference? Which one is really more useful?

Or is the general consensus about temp adorns is that they are not worth the bag space to bother saving/using? Like do they or don't they add noticeable benefits?
