What exactly was wrong with Sanguine Sacrifice?

First thing i wondered... so, any thoughts anyone ?

It was just a bug, but now that they have fixed this issue I am sure that it will put us right were we need to be with pet classes.

I hope you just forgot the sarcasm tags, or Sanguine was buffed beyond belief.

Let me rephrase it: What exactly was bugged? What where the symptoms? Obviously it wasnt always applied reliably, but how in technical terms?

I'm pretty sure it was just the display bug when you first cast it and had to cast a spell before tooltips changed.
