Coming back to game after a bit away, and looking at all the new (and waaaayyyy toooo expensive) pvp gear in Champion's Respite. I have some old dreadnaught stuff, and want to upgrade to the current level 100 items. I noticed that the weapon merchant sells a converter to go from Dreadnaught to General. But, the odd thing is, it is only for gemmed Dread armor? that makes no sense. I have a dread cloak and a one hander I want to upgrade, so how do i get them to the new tier?
Am I missing something obvious or is it that we have to buy armor we don't need and gem it out to upgrade a weapon? And then just scrap heap the existing Dreadnaught weapon with oh so many tokens invested?
The issue is that I want to upgrade a Dread weapon. The Dreadnaught conversion item says it must be used on an armor piece with one gem. /\ /\ /\This is the item that the weapon seller has. So what item do i use to upgrade the Dread Weapon (not Dread Armor)?
Thank you for the answer. I was afraid to risk thousands of tokens on the item if it didn't work to upgrade my weapons.
