Someone who writes the Erollisi quests is either a perfume aficionado or did an unintentional typo - I suspect the former. The quest giver in Hate's Envy asks you go collect dieanthus - which is a misspelling of dianthus (carnation) in a very pertinent way considering she's a Dark Elf! It sure gave me a chuckle of appreciation - and I'd definitely go out of my way for a Dark Elf carnation perfume!
Not only that, her name is a play on ambergris, a substance that used to be used as a fixative by perfumers. I got a chuckle out of the quest, also!
Sure enough! I saw her first name and thought "yup!" but didn't connect it with the last name. It did niggle at me though, and I thought I'd missed something but I couldn't figure out what. Great catch! And the "dieanthus" are pink flowers! I just love this game.
