Hello! I'm writing up some history of Norrath and am making a chapter on Veeshan, looking for some information, can anyone provide whatever they know about them? Would really appreciate it. Thanks!
Veeshan - she is the deity of the Dragons and their kin. She was the first deity to touch Norrath, she drug her claws across the land according to most NPC comments. Then she created the Ancient Wyrms (the really big really old Dragons like Yellinak) and disappeared to do other dragon things. Then the other deities created the remaining races, they couldn't allow her to be the only one to populate Norrath don't you know.
This is actually pretty much the long and short of it. Veeshan showed up, left her physical mark on Velious, deposited the dragons and left. She's still worshipped as the Goddess of Sky, but has had no further hand in Norrath's development since. It is said that the ritual of the four Warders who sealed away Kerafyrm were imbued with Veeshan's power, but there was never any further confirmation about that.
