I'm just starting out with EQ2. I enjoy crafting and during the introductary quests I received a 12-slot 'Meager Harvesting Bag'. As I harvest, mats automatically go to this container. Shortly after receiving this bag, you can get a box for your bank that has more slots as well. But it is too heavy to carry around while questing. So, just 12 slots doesn't cut it. I've searched various fan sites and I'm not able to see if there are any upgrades to this bag. I'm torn, use a 36 slot backpack, or the 12 slot auto-harvest sort bag. Please tell me there is a larger slot upgrade available... name and/or link for how I can get more information would be great.
Welcome to EQ2! There's a wonderful bag called the Wantia Artisan's Satchel. It's 36 slots. EQ2 Traders Corner has a write-up here.
Use a 36 while out in the field and then dump the harvests into the heavy box in the bank (at least until you are old enough to do the Wantia Artisan's Satchel quest in the 50's)
