Unable to download SocketError:Host Not Found (11001)

    Anyone else? All the suggestions I've found (because I did research before posting) don't seem to work. This also affects EQ1.

    Having the same issue. I played earlier today, logged off a few hours ago, now i cant log in.

    Yes, I played this morning and everything was fine. Everything I read said it was my internet connection but obviously not. I did everything I could find on it but nothing.

    Might be the log in server. I'm in the game and have been playing for about an hour.

    Me too, "There was a problem getting the list of files for download. An update may be in progress. Please try again in 20-30 minutes." and none of the solutions other people from older posts mentioned have worked for me, yet another play says they were able to log in fine 5 minutes ago.

    I had this happen too. You can bypass the launcher to get in the game by running the Everquest2.exe file in the game folder.

    It says an error occurred pls retry..I keep retying, it keeps telling me the same thing

    Someone probably tripped over an extension cord and unplugged it
    Bypass doesnt work for me..client doesnt match server error
