Unable to download socketError:connection timed-out

    While trying to patch I get the following

    Unable to download socketError:connection timed-out Destination host failed to respond (10060 - 12.120.162.128-

    it will not patch these files

    UI/Default/images/beastlord_ui.dds
    UI/Default/images/map_starting_city.dds
    UI/Default/POI/eq2_poi.xml
    UI/Default/eq2ui_ImageStyles.xml
    UI/Default/eq2ui_popup_merc_hire.xml
    UI/Default/eq2ui_inventory_merchant.xml
    EverQuest2.exe
    clientvdl.bvd
    SequenceSound.dll
    manifest
    UI/Default/eq2ui_mainhud_persona.xml
    EQ2Settings.exe

    It is possible that you may be encounter this error due to the updates we just put out for the new expansion pack. What I would suggest you do (if you have not already done so) is power cycle your router by unplugging the router or modem device you are currently using for about 30 seconds then try connecting again.

    If the problem persists please go to your EverQuest 2 directory and locate the Launchpad.Libs folder located there. Inside of this folder please delete the launchpad.cache folder, run the patcher again, and see if you are able to connect accordingly.

    Power cycle of the router fixed the everything
