Cant remember: the red/purple/black/white? rune to immunize against the control effect were priest+mage only?
It was purple and mage/priest only. Also I highly doubt they would add a "balancing factor" that could be over come with an item
The adornments that give immunity to daze, etc, only give it to HOSTILE effects.. those you cast 'on yourself' (or are cast on you by raid/group members, intentionally or otherwise) are not prevented by such adorns.
if you click the epic 2.0 to root and daze yourself.. then nothing will stop the root or daze, even if you are immune before or after. or recieve a buff that would remove it / cure it / make you immune to it. - its kinda the point. daze does not hurt your dps at all, the rune has a very high procrate from daggerstorm - if my initial flurry bowshot doesn't proc it. from my testing from the last week or so.
