The pillar in Aurelian Coast seems to be stuck on the last person who marked it for at least 2 - 3 days. Have gone to other opened zones and the same person has it marked. This is on the Maj'Dul server do not know if occurring on other servers.

Grassblade is that notorious halfling Green Hood scout we met way back in a jail cell in the original Deathfist Citadel, and again in new Zek. He's been leaving "fakeout" markables the last few expansions.
The markable in AC on that island is actually that stone round thing just by that bridge that leads to the big rock named (not in game atm so cant think of name) but like Bludd mentioned you actually need to have the Fleshless Tongue language which you receive after you collect al the ahkevan runestone collection items and then once you turn that in you head to Maidens Torch where you receive a quest which is an immediate completion for the language itself
