I looked in both towns (Freeport and Neriak) where they would normally be but nada, Did they relocate them some place or were they left out intentionally?
Unfortunately I believe they were left out intentionally as part of our "nostalgia". I can't argue much with this one, though I wish it had been overlooked. The daily tasks for tinkering/adorning/transmuting were not added until much later in the game. I'm all for putting it up for a vote to the players. I thought there were going to be more votes than just unlocking expansions.
I've looked in Neriak, Freeport, Butcherblock, etc. The only place they are offered is on the good side in FF. They also get the lvl 10-15 crafting quests. Not the best idea from a good/evilbalance perspective.
